Flooring

Phoenix carpet stores seem to be on every other corner! I remember when I lived in Glendale years ago there were only 3 carpet flooring shops. Now you see mostly big box stores. Anyways I did lots of research into both local stores and big box shops. What I found out was almost all of the flooring companies use 3rd party installers. I liked that Brandi Carpet has their own carpet installation service. Most companies offer only one major brand of carpet. These guys handle all the major brands I've ever heard of. They gave me a free estimate of the carpet cost. Phoenix carpet companies seem to all want you to pay for this! Seriously? It's like trying to purchase a car but, you're told that you have to pay extra upfront to find out what it's going to cost you! These guys came out did their measurements and gave me a price. Without charging me for the quote. Done deal. We set up a day for the carpet to be layed out and installed and we had great new carpet. I expected some kind of hassles along the way but, Zero Problemos!

Nice, nice people - honest in quoting

JAF- Arizona tile has a 25% restocking/return fee. Let's keep everything honest here. We worked with Connie and Todd on our kitchen remodel and hardwood floor installation. They were outstanding. The price and quality are unbeatable and the installers did a great job. This is the fourth house we have used them on over a 18 year period and they always deliver for us. By the way JAF - Arizona

I needed some area repair on my Pergo flooring, I had the extra material for the job but not the skill set to do the repair myself. Von came out and provided me a quote in a timely manner. Within a week of getting the quote the work was scheduled and done. The repair person, Luis was very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend East Valley Floor Inc.

Truly professional place to work with. Great showroom for both homeowner and contractor alike. Everyone is friendly and appears to enjoy their job.

Nik and his crew are just finishing up our tile installation. Then they're installing countertops. The quality of their work is fantastic. I was a general contractor for years and this is the best tile work I've seen. There were several tricky areas, including a rounded breakfast nook. They also had to take a lot of care not to damage our wainscoting when removing and installing the tile. They did an excellent job. Their customer service has also been top notch throughout. I highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

Top Shelf Care! We were in a time crunch and needed to get carpeting within a few days. Elizabeth not only did that she did it the very next day. Carpets are great and the bonus is that they were less money than Home Depot. The crew who did the installation was professional and did a good job cleaning before they left. Call Elizabeth before you buy elsewhere.

I see all these carpet reviews and they are all over the place. I have used their air conditioning division and have had a great experience. I have never been oversold, even when I directed the conversation that way. Our ACs were almost 18 years old and they have services then for the past 11 or 12 years. I've had other companies once or twice in between and they were fine, but Steve Foster, from WS, has always been great. He has installed while systems for friends and this year we knew we needed it. He recommended we get a new motor a couple of years ago and he matched a price from another friend who sells them and installed it the next day. I looked at 3 different companies and researched online for a couple of months. I had decided I would get a higher SEER rating and probably not the brand we eventually went with, Rheem. I looked closely at the reviews and when they were posted and how different companies fared in the desert heat over the years. I saw some bad ratings on the Rheem brand, but most were a couple of years past. Bottom line, I am trusting my friend, who has serviced our units for years and bought the 2 Rheem systems. They have been quiet and my 1st comparable bill was over $150 less and it was a hotter month. Yes, they are new units vs 18 year olds ones, but it is still $150+. Ten year warranty which I don't think will be needed as most AC systems last longer. I had referred them without having new ACs and my friends have not complained at all and were thankful for Steve and Western States. Now I can refer based on new units being bought and installed. Highly recommend WS and ask for Steve Foster. Tell him I referred you. I don't get any money it anything, I just like people having good experiences buying large items.
