Furniture

A friend recommended this store as I'm about to be a new mom. Been in a few times. Their staff has been always been knowledgeable and helpful. They have had stock where other stores tell me they need to order and it will be 4-6 weeks (stroller car seats etc). They installed the car seat base for free. I basically had a personal shopper when doing my "newborn essentials" shopping - though I was in on a weekday during the day so it wasn't crazy busy. So great to have and she told me about products they carry and don't carry in talking about options and ideas. Excellent service. I've dropped a wad of money on baby items here and will continue to go back. Really happy with them.

I've been using several of the beautiful essential oils from Durga Interiors for years. I live in the interior of BC and would always make a point of stocking up whenever I was in Vancouver. Since the pandemic, I've been ordering online and I have to say, I'm so impressed with the prompt and free shipping and service. You won't believe the quality of these oils and you won't find anything like them anywhere.

I bought a lamp here and am very happy with it. The place ain't cheap, but it is not super expensive either, and the stuff is quite stylish and usually of decent quality. There is nothing that looks bad in the joint, so you can't really go wrong with anything from EQ3. The staff were friendly too.

We were delighted from start to finish with Vania and the help she gave us with the pieces we bought and the kindness to keep them for us for quite a long time while a renovation completed. The pieces themselves are excellent and the delivery guys were really really good. 4.5 stars

I got a couch and small table there a few years ago and I was so satisfied with my choice that now I am coming back for a dining table. I really like that shop they really have a lot of very good quality selection and the owner is very friendly and doesn't pressure us to buy. Very happy!

We love this furniture store :)

Wonderfull team of people - from the designers who selected out the furniture to the delivery people who went out of their way to help organize everything. I would definitely continue to buy here.

We bought nearly all our furniture from Inspiration because of their excellent quality items and best customer service. We would love to recommend the most professional sales person Summer to everyone who plan to shop at Inspiration. She offered us not only excellent in-store purchasing experience, but also outstanding after-sale services. We would definitely come back to Summer again in the future!

I realized I still hadn't given David a review. What a great, personalized experience working with David! It was atypical though as I was looking for a product not stocked in store, but a specialty order he did for me. I had been looking for a reproduction Castiglioni Arco Lamp for awhile. I stumbled across a model online and contacted the manufacturer. They were selling to wholesalers/vendors but not single orders/private sale. There were only 2 stores in the Lower Mainland that they indicated they supplied the lamp to, Novo Furniture and OMG it's Small in North Van (subsidiary of Ginger Jar I believe). I wanted to see a floor sample of the lamp. I contacted David but he didn't have a floor sample of it. I went to OMG it's small to see their floor sample. I'm such a comparative person. But it's not all about pricing at the end of the day! You're buying service as well. And that service can make a lasting impression on you. It's too easy to lose sight of this. It's always best to think it over before purchasing, even if you really like it. My experience at OMG it's Small just didn't feel quite right. Sometimes retailers can be pushy if there are sales goals incentives/commission. It was a little superficial I guess. It's always satisfying to help out smaller private companies competing against larger, franchise/chain stores. I explained the situation and asked if he could order one in for me. He was very humourous, explaining how much of a nightmare they are to assemble and transport, and that he stopped selling them because of that. I also simply liked just having further conversation about it rather than just cutting to the chase and wanting to get it over with. He said he would still be happy to. Not only that, he wanted to price match the lower floor sample price that was at OMG it's Small! I even said he didn't have to, but he insisted! I admired how humble he was. But also wasn't being pressing. If I wanted to look up more specs about it, he gave me his private login with the manufacturer's catalogue. Another gesture of good service that most retailers probably wouldn't do for you! My experience working with David really shows how you get far more personalized service from him. Honest, transparent, no extra embellishment or upselling, and personality. Depth. He wants to go the extra mile for you and exceed expectations. In this case, he went the extra mile for me over a competitor because he cared about me that much. This was a very satisfying experience for me! I know he'll be reading this at some point and enjoying the humour just as much as I did! I do my best to refer friends/neighbours to Novo when I can. Do the same! Thanks David!

Large selection of used equipment for a reasonable price.

They do a good job.

Lumin Concepts has created several custom pieces that give my apartment exactly the look and feel I want. I've received countless compliments on every piece. From the start of the process, Joey and Alex were incredibly helpful and insightful. I will definitely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to anyone looking to add to their home or their business.

Excellent work on my 3 piece living room set, reasonable price, and very pleasant to deal with.
