Furniture

As far as value villages go this is a pretty one. Of course everything is overprices and their business practices are questionable as a company but this specific location is pretty decent. If you find a price unfair an employee will actually help you out and attempt to get it lowered (within reason). The place is clean (it has that thrift store smell but so does every other second hand place), the bathrooms are always surprisingly clean!

C'est plus un centre d'artisanat qu'une boutique souvenir. Tout ce qu'on y fabrique est esthétique, mais peu de touriste vont ramener un ensemble de patio fait de bâton de hockey.

Always find way too much. Treasure hunting at it's best.

Very experienced employees always there to help you when you need them

Just bought a chiropractic mattress for half price with a 10 year warranty! Best price we found in town, thank you!

Expensive and not easy to deal with

Good experienced staff and very knowledgeable

Best place for ski doo in Iqaluit. Parts sell out often and resupply sometimes slow but not often

Great place to buy furniture. Very helpful.

I am an Interior Decorating Student in my graduating year at Fanshawe College and during my first four month co-op, I renovated the main level of a residential space. For the living room I specified two papillon style chairs from rumours furniture. As a part of my studies, we learn how to identify quality and long-lasting furniture. These chairs are timeless and will be sturdy enough to be passed on to the next generation and the next without wearing out. I have never seen better quality in upholstered furniture. This is a great investment for anyone who appreciates traditional and classic furniture that is made by hand with passion and incredible attention to detail.

I would recommend Furniture Renew to all of my friends and family. They did an amazing job on our kitchen refinishing project. They have also done work for my parents. They refinished their kitchen table along with an antique sideboard (which was not a solid colour and turned out INCREDIBLE!!!) The owner Scott is informative, experienced and will make sure his clients are happy with their project. He offers a wide variety of services and his company is great at what they do!

Great selection of products and most importantly amazing service before and after the sale. We love our sectional and will be back for teak tables next spring.

Paul did a great job with an upholstery and repair project on our oversized sofa. His service was prompt, professional and very reasonably priced. I can’t recommend him enough!
