Furniture

At the Guelph location, our salesman was Travis. He was very welcoming and gave excellent service. Our first experience with him, he made sure we left very satisfied and we felt no pressure whatsoever. He set up everything for us and let us know the pros and cons for products we were interested in. It was such a great experience I made sure when I had to make another purchase a year later, I went directly to him. Can only say more positive things about him for my 2nd experience and will continue having him as my family's salesman for purchases at the brick in guelph.

I bought a sofa bed here a few years ago. They had excellent customer service and really took the time to make sure I was getting something I loved for a great value. The employees were not pushy and sleezy like at all the other stores. They really went out of their way to get my sofa delivered on time. Their delivery was excellent as well! Cannot day enough great things about this store. I will be purchasing from them again.

Bruce was very friendly and helpful. He helped us work out a fantastic deal on a sofa and was very knowledgeable about all of the manufacturer details. He's part of the reason we went with Designer Furniture instead of Top Choice. We'd definitely recommend this store, and Bruce!

Good furniture for condos. Negative: just a display store, you can't buy anything on the spot. You have to place an order. Astronomical shipping fees for delivery to home. Only and the best option is to pick from the store.

My sales rep Rheal was great. He spent so much time with me. Going from different styles to different pieces of furniture; to carry two chairs around to see if they would match. Thank you for your time and patience with me

Good store for not very but still some what affordable yet competitively priced home decor, furniture, vanities and all.

I rarely waste my time writing reviews but this time I want other people to be aware about the service. Let me write facts before expressing my views about it. Order placed and Paid in full on 11th August (Complete bedroom set and Coffee table). Order placed after confirming availability (everything confirmed to be in stock). 100% assurance given for delivery on 15th August. No Delivery on expected date. Called customer care. Got answer that I have to pick it up myself if I want same day or it may now take 14 days as some items need to be delivered between stores and procedure takes 2 weeks. Had to call customer care thrice to make sure things are moving. They never called back giving information. And set up the delivery only after my third call and new date was 27th August. On 27th August got a broken dresser which was returned. Called customer care and they said they don’t have delivery information so they cannot send replacement piece and we had to call them again next business day. Called customer care next day and they said it may take another 14 days. So here we are today September 1st waiting for the partial order after paying for it full in store 3 weeks ago. So we rate the service as 1 star. I liked and was about to buy dining table from Leon’s this weekend but your service make me look for other options now.

Beautiful, modern, tasteful home furnishings.

Thank you Michael for all your help and patience during our recent purchase. Your professionalism and knowledge were outstanding. Thanks for making this experience fun and pleasurable.

I bought 2 unfinished white cedar Muskoka chairs, 2 matching foot stools and a side table from Penwood Furniture in Morristown, ON. They are beautifully crafted, sturdy and well-made, we get so many compliments on them! I live in Montreal and found them on a visit to Ontario. We bought the chairs and then ordered the other pieces during the year from them over the phone. Their staff is first rate, very helpful and polite and really know their merchandise. Penwood is a real find for us since we looked at so many places in Quebec and could not find anything that nice and well-made for the price!

Easy to deal with. have been dealing with them for years for the most part the staff is wonderful

We purchased some bedroom furniture that we could not find elsewhere. Hanah in Sales/Customer Service was very pleasant, not pushy and patient. Excellent service and product !

Great store for home items. Quality products that u actually enjoy buying.

Their stuff is OVERPRICED and DECEPTIVE . I would never ever go to this place. Compare their prices with same models available at "Ritz furniture". Ritz has better sales and deals compared to vanaik. I paid 2600 dollars for queen bed and king bed of ashley and the same was available for 2350 at Ritz. I contacted vanaik before delivery to match price but they didnt and also did not add any other stuff to compensate prices before the delivery takes place. They charge heavy for cancellation.

I bought two office desks in here. It is a good deal. The quality is better than other similar companies. It is easy to assemble.

The store has great stuff, good quality and very elegant. We were looking for a bedroom set for long, visited multiple stores but once we walked into Ashley we knew there was no turning back. The staff at the store is extremely friendly, patient and willing to sit down and discuss various design options, provide recommendations and also suggest appropriate financing options. We would definitely come back to the store for all our future furniture requirements.

the experience was great . we visited most all stores in gta and found consistency in product style prices and store ambiance. the customer servive varied depending on person and their personilty. Vaughan city was the best . oakville second amd mississuaga last. we bought it from there because its closer to our house but the service was good but less customized. i like the sales person but just to compare

Our sales person was very inviting as soon as we walked in the door. She was not pushy. She very knowledgeable and had lots of recommendations. She took her time helping us to decide what we wanted.
