Varying stock, some good bargains

Stood at the paint desk for 10 minutes with no one coming to help. "Special Assistance needed at the paint desk" playing all that time in the background. I just left.

They carry some great items...unique selection!

This store has everything! If you can't find it ask the knowledgeable staff, I am amazed at their ability to direct me to the correct aisle, shelf or bin. Has a family-owned feel, fair pricing, free parking, great selection--whats not to love here!?

Bought a little lock from this place, decided it was too small. Came back to return it 2 hours later and was denied a return. Guess it's really hard for them to re-package a lock. Not only are their products overpriced, they don't offer returns.

Excellent service by very friendly and accommodating staff

I didn't know much about fixing radios, and I am not one to throw things out needlessly, but when I took my Horizon VHF in to get bench tested after having issues with receiving, the employees basically took $168 out of my pocket. I am not in the VHF or radio business, but Startech is. The nice thing that they should have said on April 9, 2018 was: *Don't waste your money on bench test of $100, then repair of $50 and tax of $18 for a total of $168, particularly when we won't warranty the repair work, go out and buy a new one. *If you have to repair a VHF that is older, it is simply better to buy new and something reliable. *Here is a suggestion...... But they didn't. My radio didn't receive after I simply adjusted the squelch. I went back to them and they offered nothing and that was even after the front desk checked further up the food change. I am also in sales. When I see a customer that is making a potentially bad choice, I warn them off and give them options. That is what professionals do and it tends to keep the customers coming back.

Best service. If they don't have it in stock, they will have it in faster than anywhere else.
