Unfinished fencing project. Strong effort and completion for two weeks than nothing for over s month. Winters not coming, it's here. Now it will be 6 months....

Jeremy King did finish our basement and transformed it into a little studio apartment our friends and family will be happy to stay. After a very bad experience with another contractor last year he restored our faith into the guild. He did a wonderful job, it looks superb and that in only 3 weeks and 2 days! If we have another job to do we will definitely ask him again to do it!

Very helpful. Explained exactly what they were going to do and broke it down into affordable tasks. Friendly technicians arrived to do the work. Cleaned up after themselves. I can tell that the floors are warmer and I have not seen any ice damming yet this winter.

POSITIVES: The neighborhood is awesome. I love my neighbors and everyone is so friendly here. NEGATIVES: (directed at the builders/workers) The craftsmanship of the homes is poor quality. We struggled a lot with "cut corners" in our home and it's a terrible process to get the builders/workers back in to fix things that we just gave up and started fixing things ourself. Missing door handles, door stoppers installed incorrect, missing sections of paint, terrible paint job, terrible drywall job. We were very disappointed to hear that Reids Heritage Homes were the builders in our community because they have a great reputation, but holy smokes..... the workers they had in theirs neighborhood had no clue what they were doing! When the workers did end up returning to fix things, they made a bigger mess and caused more damage. See images of their "complete" work.....

Please have a look at the photos of the downed trees and standing water problems. My property backs on to the Trailwoods phase 3 development site. These properties are expensive properties yet the developer has literally destroyed hundreds of trees and left them to rot in people’s backyards. These trees were needed to soak up water. We now have a flooding problem. Dunncap Corporation responded to the problem by chipping up some of the fallen trees and has simply covered up the water so no one will see. But this will decompose leaving a problem for all homeowners. A swale has been built near the Peel Street entrance to deal with storm water management but this is simply a ditch. The bottom of the ditch is filled with clay and the grading is not correct. The water just simply sits there. As a result, we have had a mosquito problem all summer. Buyer beware on the purchase of these properties.

My wife and i used Alair Homes Grey Bruce to build our new home this past year. Their unique building process let us have input at every step of the build and everything was very transparent. Working with Dylan and Ben was unbelievable, they answered all our questions (we both had a lot) made suggestions and gave us their honest opinion when we asked for it. I have nothing but great things to say about Alair homes Grey Bruce and would recommend them for anyone wanting to build a house where you can have input and watch your house be built at every step. Our house finished two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget which is a testament to our contractor. Thank you Dylan and Ben for your professionalism, attention to detail and patience with us when building our forever home. We will call you when we need the basement finished.
