Went for an interview, wh e re the DON went to lunch while i sat there for over an hour and the only thing she could say was that she was the "Director of Nursing " like my time wasn't important. Once i was about to begin my interview which she was about to conduct with another dietary employee in the room who asked her if she wanted her to step out so she can do the interview at which time this lil lady gave her a look under her glasses which caused me to tell the lady that she could have a good day. I declined the interview and left i choose quality over quantity an employee should be comfortable in their working environment and yet i couldn't even get pass the interview and would not recommend this place to anyone.....respect is a 2way street and this was not the place for me.

THE BEST WRAP AROUND SERVICES! Susie's House Adult Foster Care champions the best quality care for my brother. He was seriously mental ill and developmental challenged in need of care and Susie's House gave him a resident-centered approach to caregiving. I was hands on and wanted to take care of my brother, but after trailing their services my brother continued to stay there and the family was very pleased to partake in family night and other recreational activities (his favorite is Belle Isle and river walks). I saw him not only progress, but feel the warmth of Susie's House caregivers and feel they truly cared for him and made him feel at home. You can't go wrong at Susie's House!

My mom was here for several years. She enjoyed the location, her room, the folks that lived in the building and the nurses, aids, and other workers. The food was good, I stayed and dined with here several times, always good food. I am great ful for the excellent care she was given by the workers and the helpful community of residents. She was always cheerful and enjoyable. This particular building was recently closed and the residents were relocated to other facilities.

I had a hard time living alone without any assistance. St. Joseph has been such a blessing in my life. I believe after I’m finish with therapy I will be able to care for myself better when I go home. The staff has been very helpful and encouraging on my road to recovery.

i have been a resident for over a year here, i would not recommend this place to anyone. the only reason i gave it 1 star is i have to to post here

Run by United Helpers. A pretty nice nursing home. My mom was here in her last year's and liked it. We thought she was well cared for by excellent, and well trained staff.

Nurses are good and do their jobs well,office is totally incompetent of answering any questions or taking any responsibility of everyday operations, every time I called they put me off to someone else,take no responsibility,no curious call when they know no nurse is coming that day,very disappointed

We visited here as part of the process to find an appropriate long-term care facility for a family member. This looks like a wonderful place. They specialize in making it a home-like environment for they patients, most of whom suffer from some sort of Dementia. The only problem for us is that there are no government subsidies available, which makes it somewhat expensive. Update: My mother has been staying here for the last few months now and this is indeed a wonderful place for your loved one with moderate dementia issues. The staff is excellent and the care the residents receive is truly wonderful.

Perfect for rural families! After having my father needed care for his health, we decided to place him at Richmond Lodge and we are happy with our decision. He was well cared for by staff and residents and stayed active in programs. This home is not 'luxury retirement residence' but truly a home- away from home. My father felt comfortable, as did we in this environment which was cozy, safe, and warm. I recommend this home to many rural families/people in Richmond/manotik/kanata.

The care and compassion offered at Granite Ridge for my father were beyond compare. They were patient with our families extensive questions and any concerns were addressed very quickly (ex. nurses would give us updates if he was feeling under the weather etc and we called to check in). The food was healthy and plentiful. During my father's 2 year stay they truly made us feel welcome. The compassion and caring they showed him in his final days were above and beyond and they not only cared for him respectfully they also made sure my mother and ourselves were also fed and attended to this difficult time. I can't thank them enough. Anyone considering a long term care home should feel at ease of a loved one living here. They truly do the best that they can.
