never in my life have I ever been disrespected like I have at banwell. They are so mean to employees and as a former employee I was so disgusted by how gross their showers are, like toilet bowl covers broken on the ground, client toilet bowls dirty with feces. I wonder how they ever passed inspection. Some psws treat residents very poorly, for example they will leave them unchanged because it was time of thier break and keep them till after, I will never trust my family in thier care. I know it’s lot of work to have 11 or 12 resident at once but you can’t leave a resident on the toilet for almost half an hour or to belittle a resident to go to bed because you don’t want to have work to do on your shift. Elderly are sensitive to ulcers so it’s important to reposition every 2 hours to avoid them when I was there it will go 4 hours and no one would come to check on that resident. There are never enough wash cloths to clean a resident you are limited to one per resident can you imagine you being cleaned with one cloth... too much elderly verbal abuse. It’s really sad for the amount of money they charge they can make thier facility cleaner or have proper air conditioners.

Stuff still in the drawers from previous resident. Did not answer her calls. I regret her ever going there. She died there.

Both my parents live in a local memory care community and although they are well cared for overall sometimes I need extra help on short notice. My father's form of dementia will manifest itself from time to time in spells of agitation with behavioral issues requiring 24/7 supervision. Jerry, owner of our local Synergy Home Care, has been a Godsend in these situations. I just let him know my care needs and he immediately jumps into action quickly lining up the perfect group of caregivers for the situation. One call to him and I know that my dad is in good hands ... thank you Tanya, Kiki & Detrese. Sadly my situation is not unique and there are too many people out there trying to navigate the ever-changing waters of dementia related diseases as they oversee the care of loved ones. It's reassuring to have reliable service groups like Synergy Home Care available to help make it a little easier.

The staff are fantastic very upbeat. I came from out of town to help out with my mother in law for a week and was very impressed with staff and how they correspond with residence. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a kind trustworthy environment

Do not leave your love one here for too long....

It would be great if the owner could help me, as she wrote below my first review, except they tried to kick my mother out even before I could find her a new place, because they want NO ONE with dementia who is still ambulatory. They repeatedly lied about how many beds they had available and why they did or didn't. As someone else said, yes, it looks like the cream of the crop, but the nursing space is gross and alarms go unanswered forever!

I've been coming here for 2 years now to visit a friend. The staff work hard, and are always friendly. It is like one big family. Lots of activities and things to do. The food there is good. They allow for adjustments if needed. It's a very clean place.

The care you provide my aunt over the last 5 years has been exceptional. The attention to details, matching our caregivers and access to visit reports has put our family at ease knowing that our loved one is getting the care that she deserves.
