Great location! A lot of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, stores, and best yet - the waterfront is all in walking distance. Clean, professional, and helpful! Places were recommended to us to eat and check out all the time. Great hotel!

An absolutely beautiful hotel. We use their washrooms every Gay Pride, and instead of being unfriendly or indifferent, they allow us to and embrace our prescence. Because of this, we'll always highly recommend this classy place. Their washrooms are also super clean and elegant.

Stayed here twice during our visit to Halifax, great atmosphere with all the antiques in the Inn. Breakfast was good.

There where no blinds, so the room felt uncomfortable undressing in. Asked for a good room and got silver. The difference is a meal. Course I should have checked prior to checking in. Service was nice. And the spot is premium. Room wasn't stellar and extremely pricey.

Reasonable price. Close to amenities. But the room I stayed was at the corner and the WiFi connection was poor.

Best price and has a kitchenette, just what we were looking for! Facility is in need of a renovation soon but it works for those who are not fussy.

Great hotel. Stayed here a few times both before I started a major camping trip around Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and when that trip was concluded. The staff is great, the bed is large and comfortable, rooms very clean, pillows have substance, air conditioner works well, and there’s a washer and dryer. Could not have been more satisfied.

Really impressive. Very recently renovated, lots of amenities. Great breakfast, kid and pet friendly. Really neat pool and indoor splash pad. Friendly staff.

Rather dated in some ways but clean, quiet & friendly staff. Room rates were good.

Hampton Inn is my regular hotel, but they just renovated this location and knocked it out of the park. Modern looking with soft colors and very spacious. With Dartmouth Crossing right across the road with many shops and restaurants make this a easy stay.

The service was very good. Everyone was polite, getting doors and helping us as we had a minivan full of toddlers. Unfortunately I think our room (311) had flees in it. I slept on the floor and my wife and sister-inlaw slept in the beds with the toddlers, and I was the only one who got bitten.

Had a great stay. After booking, they had information and map mailed to us! NICE. This B&B has 2 rooms with shared bath - 2 night minimum. Street parking, but had offered off street parking in drive-way. One night we "shared" bath, not a problem - discussed with other couple their routine and shared ours. Short walking distance to ferry to go over to Halifax. We enjoyed a social get together with host and the other couple one evening which was a nice touch.

Very comfortable, elegant, clean and well located. It is not a hotel room, it is more like an apartment with a very spacious and nicely appointed living room in addition to the bedroom. I highly recommend it.

Dated hotel but super nice staff. Cookies at reception desk were delicious! Lots of noise from nearby pubs.

The area was great and the apartment was really clean and quiet. Alot roomier than a hotel. I was impressed with the staff, their attention to detail and how quickly they replied to my questions. Not being from the east coast, I didn't realize all the construction and development happening in the city....including in the lot next door but the apartment was so quiet that I didn't hear anything. Can't wait to come back in the summer.

It's a dump, and the owner and cleaning guy left the knee-banging bathroom niche, and the shower/toilet room, dirty, rarely changing the mildewed fabric shower curtain and the soggy, smelly shag bath mat. The beds? Better put something alongside your body to avoid that listing boat feeling while reclining. Helen, the ornery owner/"host", gives no refunds for nights not used, and makes outlandish excuses for the freezing rooms in cold months. Good reviewers here must have been used to living in North Korean yeogwans on a miser's budget. Do your body and pride a favor - spend a few more bucks elsewhere (1 star for location - period).
