Impeccable style and taste, with an amazing location and view. Wonderful, pressure staff, with a welcoming vibe and inviting atmosphere, it was one of my favorite stays.

Charming and comfortable.

Great hotel close to the highway. Perfect stop over before reaching Yarmouth to catch The Cat. Staff was very helpful in recommending places to visit in the area. I chose this hotel because of the Best Western Brand. I know I was going to get a nice, clean and reasonably price hotel and have a perfect nice sleep.

DO NOT STAY HERE FOR BUSINESS. I came to stay at the Best Western for business, and it was booked through my corporate travel agency. However, when I came to check in, the hotel staff would not/could not charge my company for the room, because I did not have the corporate credit card on my person. It is also not their policy to send authorization forms to companies so that they can charge corporate cards (unlike all the rest of the hotels I deal with regularly). To overcome this, my company would have to set up a corporate account with this individual Best Western. This is a unique problem to this particular Best Western, apparently, since they are a franchise and have created this policy unilaterally. It is completely uneconomical for companies to have to set up corporate accounts with individual hotels; that is why we have hotel chains and corporate rates. The staff were completely unhelpful and it took several times through the questioning process to even get this information out of them. Overall, it was a very frustrating and unrewarding experience.

Rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Hotel has been renovated and has a nice fresh feel to it. Continental breakfast has a nice selection.

Our stay started with being greeted warmly by the staff at the front desk. We were less than 5 minutes to check-in. The renovations were well done in the rooms and the common areas. The hot complimentary breakfast was nice touch as well. Would recommend it as a alternative to staying right down down as you are close to dartmouth crossing and not very far from downtown.

My wife and I entered our room at 10:30 pm Thursday night, and within a few minutes she was experiencing an allergy attack from the smell of mold or mildew. She went to the car so that she could breathe, and before 11:30 pm I had finished repacking and we were gone. I left a note politely explaining what happened (and that the bed was not used) and was not contacted. I contacted them later the next day, and the owners were gone for the weekend. The cousin who was left in charge said I'd have to wait until the owners returned. I called them on Sunday when they had returned and the owners treated me like I was trying to steal from them. I would have been satisfied with a partial refund, and would have left a positive review despite my bad experience, but instead the owner hung up on me while I was speaking calmly. They had angrily claimed that the smell was not mold or mildew but instead the cleaning agent used. They refused to do anything because I had already payed at 4pm on Thursday. The closest thing to an apology I got was, "You should have told me that your wife was asthmatic, and I would have told you, nothing against you or people with asthma, but I have to keep my rooms clean so I use cleaners, and you would just be happier if you go somewhere else." My wife does not have asthma, she's just recovering from cancer. Neither she nor I noticed the smell of cleaning agents - the sheets and bed smelled clean. In fact the mildew smell seemed to come from everywhere but I couldn't smell it in the blanket or sheets or pillow. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, and inns, some with more stars some with less, and regardless of the accommodations, the owners and staff have always been more reasonable than the owners of the Sun Valley Motel. Do not stay here.

Location and customer service is fabulous. Easy to park at, or nearby. Restaurant food is terrific. Room was a bit dated and just starting to show its age. Overall, it is a pretty great place to stay

The rooms and hotel were very nice and the food at the hotel restaurant was very good! The complimentary breakfast was not bad, they offered a nice selection!

I live in a family suite with three adults and an infant. The room is large, my toddler like to run around happily. The staff are nice and can sometimes offer discounts. Very satisfied!

We have stayed at this location many times because we love being on the waterfront. The rooms all have a great view and the staff are welcoming and helpful.
