My first impression was that I was booked into a fancy New England resort. This is a very well maintained, interesting and lovely place. My only regret is that I was only about stay a short duration.

Ramada in Cold Lake was a decent hotel. Good breakfast and noce staff. The heds were updated and comfortable, but the rooms need an update. Looks like there was just some new paint cheaply put on for a quick fix. Overall for the price and wyndham points, it was a good stay.

Best Western Cold Lake Inn

BW in Cold Lake is two buildings and they don't let you know which one you are booked into. It is the same price for the lovely hotel as the cramped motel on the property. The parking does not have room for all the guests even if you book in with your license. They have strange standards for breakfast so don't expect that you will receive it. The motel portion has cement steps up so it is difficult if you have mobility problems. We do not recommend.

We spent 5 nights here to enjoy Yellowstone and we enjoyed the stay. Our room was rustic, very clean and cozy and more than met our needs. Everyone working here, including the owner, was friendly, helpful, and cheerful. We will certainly choose the Madison when we return to the area!
