It's best attribute is that it is close to where we live. Servers should feel comfortable in their work attire and at Shark Club they do seem very comfortable. In fact they seem uncomfortable they are forced to where tight short skirts and tops while their male counterparts wear normal attire. It's 2018, this is no longer acceptable.

Amazing hotel with lots of character. Best location, you can walk anywhere. Great nightlife, excellent food and the staff treated us great. The room was spacious, clean and newly renovated.

Although they don't have all the modern amenities it is very nice. nestled into a mountain side. Clean, friendly staff.

The manager and staff are super friendly. They were full of answers for all my questions. They helped me find great places to eat. Was surprised at the $150 dollar deposit you have to put down for the room but I got it back within a few days of leaving. The two bed suite with kitchen was really nice. Hotel was kept clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is located weirdly between several streets and with the construction on the streets it was interesting to get into, but I would go there again.

Excellent little hotel. Delightful service and an awesome location. The ambiance of the property is clean, sophisticated yet not over the top.

If finances allow you shouldn't stay anywhere else . Beds comfy. Couch comfy. Staff pleasant. Restaurant delicious.

Great location, but certainly not a luxury hotel. Has all the basic amenities and the staff were very friendly. They were also nice enough to let me store my bike in the hotel.

We found the Mayfair Motel to have pleasant staff, a large, clean room, and a convenient location. It would be nice if blackout curtains were installed on the windows, though.

House keepers are cute. The service is very good and the rooms are clean and kept well. And like i said, very cute.

The dim sum here is amazing, they are quite busy on the weekends, but if you get in line and have a decent cell phone game, time passes quickly. Once you're in, the staff bring around little trolleys with a variety of food in small baskets. Typically there will be 4 items in a basket so if you have 2 or 4 people it works out great. The variety of food is amazing and this is hands down the best Dim Sum in town at the moment (and for quite a while). You can also order special requests if you're not seeing a specific item that you like. On the weekends when it's busy there is a bit more variety, but it's still great mid week. You can also order regular Chinese food off the menu if you want, but why on earth would you. I can't recommend this place enough. Free parking, centrally located and not overly expensive. Make sure you go!

Lovely room with a view. Breakfast acceptable. Good location. Quite pricey though.

Nice hotel, clean room equipped with microwave and mini fridge. Grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance.

First time staying here and will not be the last. Beautiful, quiet, close to town and a nice walk. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and you have to ask for extra soap! Pretty extensive collection of older DVDs including my fav "Arrested Development." This is my now my fav place to stay for trips to BC.

One of the nearest hotels I have ever been to! The suites were the perfect size, and absolutely chalked full of history. The stairs were a little steep getting up to the second floor, so I request a ground level floor to someone with health issues, but overall very near place! I will definitely be back!!

I have walked by this hotel many times and never thought much of it. It's an older building right across the street from the Parliament Buildings. Doesn't look like much from the outside but we ended up staying here by chance for a family wedding. I am guilty of judging this book by its cover. Great efforts have been put into updating the interior. Lots of new furniture, clean carpets, very comfortable beds and pillows and plenty of space for our family of 4. Haven't tried the pool yet but it looks lovely and the kids are excited for it. Breakfast was included with our stay and also exceeded our expectations. We were expecting a standard continental breakfast but instead we were greeted with fresh eggs, ham, Hashbrowns and a multitude of other delectable goodies; including a waffle iron! Don't do what I did. Book your room here now. The location, price and service simply can not be beat.
