Great breakfast with a fantastic view. The prices were comparable to other local places and staff were accomodating. I would definitely return.

Fantastic view of the ocean. Restaurant was good with seafood offerings, excellent lunch location. Very close to the ferry terminal.

Rooms were small and it felt a bit uncomfortable. We decided not to stay and they charged us full price.

Long term/ transient moorage and fuel available, the locals are friendly - there is also a boat yard. Bustling in the summertime, it also has a great Art shop nearby. Gulf Island Seaplanes also operate here.

Cheap and clean. What more do you need. Perfect waterside location.

Not as bad as other reviews make it out to be. Woman in the office was nice and the motel was comfortable and quiet. Pretty handy location too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. My only suggestion is that they put irons and boards in every room as I didn't enjoy having to ask. Other than that I highly recommend staying here if visiting Gabriola island.

What an awesome experience! Bev & Jim Oliver, were friendly, genuine hosts who took great pride in providing the optimal experience for their guests. From helping bring in our bags, and inviting us up for a lovely, light wine, to offering us a wealth of information about the best hiking trails, kayaking ventures, wine tasting tours, and dining experiences, they certainly had our best interests at heart. We were blown away with the beautifully, lavishly decorated, classy suite. The sofa and armchairs were perfect for cozying up in. The cute, modern kitchen even included bar stools, a storage wine cooler, and provided us with great coffees. The large king-size bed had soft, lush bedding that provided us with a deep and restful sleep. And the breakfast was to die for - a decadent layered yogurt, granola, fresh fruit dish followed by muffins and then bacon wrapped around an egg that was baked in the oven. Definitely a 5 out of 5 rating for the delicious food, extremely clean, luxurious accommodations, and hosts that treated you like royalty ! You start as guests and end up as friends! Thanks so much, Bev & Jim, for a fantastic get-away and adventure! We'll be back!

Very good value. Rooms are clean and cheap. We had the cheapest room, but still had a fridge coffee maker and a couple of chairs on the veranda. Only a short walk into the centre of Colwichan Bay. Free parking on site.

Cozy accommodation

Brilliant place to stay on the coast

This is the second time that I have stayed here. The first time was good, this time it was perfect. The parking lot was spacious. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The room was fantastic. I had a queen room with a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well appointed. Check out was a breeze. I reccomend staying here.

Great place for long term. The owners are wonderful people that can't do enough for you. Nice and clean as well as quite. I would recommend this place to anyone.
