My husband and I have been students at the School of Martial Arts since 2005. It has been an amazing journey! Sifu Brown is an incredible teacher whose enthusiasm and over 35 years of experience makes for a great class every time. The people that attend the school are great partners no matter what size you are or what shape you are in athletically. We take classes with all adults but they have kids classes as well. Beyond learning to defend myself in rigorous classes that not only engage me physically but mentally, I have learned the benefits of meditation and have seen a positive change in myself and my life overall. Going to the gym sucks! If you are looking to get a great workout, feel inspired, learn to defend yourself and improve the quality of aspect of your life - I highly recommend it!

I signed my daughter up here at 6 years old. We have been regulars here for 7 years now. They are pretty flexible with our schedule which is often very hectic and have allowed for breaks in training when needed. Karate has been great for my daughters focus, strength, and self esteem.

Master John is wise, humble and a master of Karate by all meanings of the word master. He's a well reputed fighter, however, what he teaches well extends beyond fighting, ultimately, it's about becoming a stronger and better person. I grew up taking Karate with him as a child and I would recommend Pro-Style Martial Arts to anyone who values building positive character traits such as courage, discipline, humility, dedication and compassion over simply being able to beat someone up or punch through a cinder block. At Pro-Style, for over 20 years it's been about character, that's what the motto swears by, that's what it will always be about.

Browns' focus on family classes is what I like most about this dojo. It is so incredibly rewarding to be able to progress through the belts side-by-side with my seven year old. Sensei Geoff and Sensei Saul strike a perfect balance between teaching the physical aspects of martial arts and teaching about self-discipline, confidence, respect and positive attitude. Terrific instruction, terrific family focused attitude and terrific facility!

My sons (5 and 7) have been going for about a year.They learn a lot when they focus, and they always have fun. I started about a month ago and am enjoying myself immensely. Lots to like about this dojo.

As a student I really do love this school. Grandmaster Crandall is a great instructor and a great person who has devoted his time and effort to martial arts. It is a very traditional school and I love it very much.

First my son.....couldn't believe how well he was teaching my son.... as a military vet he understands my son's upbringing and has taught him so well, that I too am now a student of his...
