Shin's TaeKwonDo Academy rules! My daughter started the lessons in Master Shin's academy not long ago, about a month, and I am already very impressed with the progress she made - not even in martial arts techniques but in the areas, she needed the most- discipline, ability to follow instructions improved. I like the way lessons are organized - when new students are harmoniously accepted into the existing groups with the assistance of the more experienced students. Thank you, Master Shin!

Family owned and operated. This local studio teaches students of all ages. The owner is very involved in the community.

If you or your children are considering to training for Olympics or National team... this one will be best place to go.

We are very happy with this martial arts school. The instructors are very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with.

A Taekwondo facility isn't just a place to learn kicking skills and forms only. Kids can learn much more than that, something like self-confidence, self-esteem, how to respect other people and instructors and so on. JK martial art is a very good place for kids to practice and enjoy Taekwondo skills in a very friendly manner and learn beyond that. In addition, JK martial art is the Taekwondo facility certified by Kukkiwon (also known as World Taekwondo Headquarters), which is the official taekwondo governing organization established by the South Korean government. I'd like to thank Master Kim and all the other instructors for teaching my son for a very long time. He keeps all his belts and certificates very proudly.

So grateful to have found this place. I absolutely love the BJJ conditioning class! It's working out without feeling like you're working out. You use movements/exercises that helps you stay fit and improve on your BJJ techniques. I can't explain it, you just have to experience it. Eric is very welcoming, very thoughtful, he helps the ladies feel empowered and confident in practicing jit jitsu. You can tell he's passionate about his team. I highly recommended taking a class and experience it for yourself. I enjoying getting to know the team and be apart of it.

I have been here just over two years. The benefits of this class and art are incredible and I feel better than at any point in my life!

Great Gym

My son has been taking class at Cottage Lake Family Martial Arts for over a year. He is always excited to go to class twice a week even over the summer. I continue to be impressed with the instructors approach toward the kids, positive approach - if you are working hard you are successful. The kids love it and want to keep going! I absolutley recommend to everyone I know!

Stopped by to enroll my daughter , was completely ignored by the staff. I left a one star review after that experience, received a phone call from the owner apologizing for my experience offered my child a free month. I felt my initial experience was not indicative of how the staff behaves, just a misunderstanding that was corrected. Glad I gave them a chance.

I've been working out at YS Lee Martial arts for 19 years. Master Lee shares his expertise with humor, kindness and encouragement. We are family. The "art" of martial arts is emphasized through respect, discipline and goal-setting. Master Lee is a man of integrity and serves as a constant role model. He is so good with kids!! Teachers and coachers can learn a lot from his style of teaching. No contracts at this school either.

Sensei (teacher) and students are so nice and welcoming. Once you join, you feel like you're a part of a family. I enjoy going to classes and alway have fun. Sensei teaches women's defense class on Saturday mornings and its open to the community. It's definitely something beneficial to learn !!
