Lots of fun and patience with the little ones

From the time we found out we were having a boy, my husband always said that he wants his son to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from an actual native Brazilian black belt. We always figured that we were going to have to go to Sacramento, CA to achieve that goal. I remember I found out about a year and half ago that we actually had the exact gym that we were hoping for right in our hometown. I called my husband, and he went and checked it out, and our oldest son went that night to practice. We have been there pretty much every week since (and not because we are making our kids, they don't ever want to miss). I tell everyone I know that they need their kids to come and learn from Bruno. I love knowing that my child has learned how to defend himself if he is ever in a bad or bullying situation. It is a fun and safe environment that kids ages 3 and up will enjoy and benefit from. This has certainly given me a new level of energy and allowed me to feel fit and kick kick some but while I'm at it! Master Dow knows just how to push you to get to a point that you will feel great and work on reaching any goal you have

Friendly place with direct lineage to Helio and Rickson Gracie. I started 4 months ago and it really changed my life. Highly recommend it!

This schools provides great training in different Kung Fu styles from different regions. Sifu Jonathan Wang is a great teacher who also teaches the philosophy behind the different styles that goes beyond movements. I highly recommend BTKA to anyone who truly wants to learn various regional styles of Kung Fu.
