Our family has been going to Morning Sun for years. Great place to get in shape. The owner,Marianne, is 5th degree black belt in Tai Kwon Do and Hapkido. She teaches all ages. Her youngest student is 4, her oldest 77. Everyone is welcome. Come and check it out☺

I joined Moore's Martial Arts in April 2016 to lose weight and get into better shape. I just dropped in and Shun Shifu Kemp gave me a free lesson to show me what I could learn. I didn't want a martial art that emphasized tournaments and competition. Well what I joined for, I got. I have lost weight, I'm in better shape, and Shou Shu is about self defense. Very useful. I actually got more. The instructors and students are very friendly and helpful they want you to succeed. I love it. BTW: I joined at the age of 62 1/2 so no matter what age you are, you can learn and succeed.

Awesome place for kids of all ages to exercise physically, mentally develop, and most importantly have fun. I have been attending martial arts under Sensei Ariel Mastov for 11 years and will continue to go and progress forward for as long as I can.

Started out by attending a women's self defense class a loved the instructors. They put you at ease once your arrive. I recommend trying these guys

We love MUDO. My daughter has been going since she was 3 years old (so over 3 years now) and she loves it. The instructors are wonderful, the classes are usually small, and the community is awesome. They have summer camps for the kids and also special nights once a month where parents can drop off kids for a few hours. The instruction is top-notch and disciplined, but fun at the same time. The instructors put so much thought into the classes and taking them to the next level in their karate. Classes are offered at convenient times for working parents which is much-appreciated and they are super flexible about schedules -- we are on the 1x/week plan and they allow you to come anytime during that week, whatever works for you. Can't recommend it more.

I'm a junior student here at DMA, and i've been taking class since I was 3 years old. I'm now 12 and very close to getting my Red Belt! Taking karate here is so fun because the instructors know how to make the classes really fun. Everyone at this place always has a very good attitude. I have made many new friends here at DMA. It's been fun coming to as many classes as I can take each week. I hope to someday test for my Black Belt and maybe teach classes seeing I already help with the Little Dragons Program. I love DMA! It has taught me to be a good person inside and outside of karate.

This is a fantastic dojo! It is the 'real deal'...not one of those 'factory' type places for kids that tend to populate Los Angeles. Each of the dedicated senseis have trained extensively and really teach the art of Martial Arts and are great with the kids. They also teach adults. I think my son has really learned a lot from this place...not only the actual 'moves' but his confidence level is very high and I think this has had a lot to do with it. There are teachers in this world and there are 'special teachers'...this dojo is special I think.

My daughter loves Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Master Rodrigo, Ms. Fernanda and the rest of the instructors. What initially surprised me was how hands-on Master Rodrigo was/is with classes. He instructs every class and is terrific with the kids. He, and the other instructors, are great with the children of all ages groups. I say it initially surprised me because I now watch how he conducts his classes (for almost two years now) and see how methodical his “Bully Prevention” curriculum is. It boosts the confidence of students and they learn by having fun. The flexibility of his class schedule is also a bonus for busy parents as well. Obviously I recommend Rodrigo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. It has been great for my daughter and I respect what Master Rodrigo and his team have accomplished. Jim O

Great place and excellent instructors. My six year old daughter loves to practice here. We've been part of Quest family going on 2 years. Highly recommended.

I study at another local dojo, but Seaside Shotokan has allowed us to use their facilities on several occasions. It's a great facility, and the resident sensei's have always been very welcoming. It's a pleasure to train at this dojo.
