I would highly recommend Liz - as first time home buyers, my wife and I were feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of finding a mortgage that fit our needs and budget. We first went to the bank and met with a pushy mortgage broker (aka salesperson) who offered us a large mortgage with the caveat of having to take out a line of credit with the bank.
