In recent months we have used the services of Munden's twice. The first time was in April to move some items to Saint John's, Newfoundland and the second time was toward the end of May when our son moved from Halifax to Toronto. From beginning to end, Munden's did everything right. Their office staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, they provided excellent advice and guidance. The movers were friendly, courteous, efficient and reliable. They took great care in preparing furniture and other items for transport, I can truly say they treated them as if they were their own belongings. They called before delivery arrival to ensure a time which was best for us, punctuality could be their trademark. The price, as originally quoted, was the actual price we paid...there were no unwanted surprises. We considered the price to be more than fair! Munden's is a company that knows the meaning of customer service and they practice it. We highly recommend them, they will be the first company we call for any future moving requirements. I have used Mike for close to 100 moves at work and I have to say his team is easily the best moving company I have every used. Fast, Friendly, Affordable, and accommodating. I wouldn't even search another moving companies name.

Took great care with our belongings!! The guys were funny and really experienced.

My aunt in Halifax past away a few weeks ago and I needed someone to move a few items to my parent's place in Truro. I goggled Halifax movers and Moore Moving Systems were one of the ones that came up. After searching this site and others for reviews I decided to call Moore. Pete was very helpful and accommodating to my situation. Their prices were reasonable, especially as my aunt had lived in a three story walk up. No extra charges. Pat and Mike showed up early on the day of the move to meet me at the apartment. They were courteous and friendly and very careful with a few antique furniture pieces, wrapping them in blankets before moving them down the stairs to the truck. The fellas were efficient and had the job done quickly. I met them at my parent's place and they moved the items into the basement, being careful and respectful of my elderly parents. They had to rearrange things a couple of times for my dad to be happy, which they did with smiles and respect. Pete even called me during the move to ensure that all was going well. I would definitely recommend Moore Movers for any move you may have.

Disgustingly rude

Delivery people were very ignorant when told not to leave items in the hall of the building.

I am absolutely disgusted with how our move went. If you are thinking of going with Mackie I would suggest getting other quotes and comparing. I had two other quotes completed that estimated our weight almost exactly. Mackie underestimated us by approximately 1800 lbs and stated on the quote that the price was guaranteed not to exceed the quoted amount, so obviously we went with them. Anyways much to our surprised they got all of our stuff on the truck and then called me saying I had to pay more because it was so much over the quoted amount. They stated that we added things since the quote and listed things that were present during the quote. They then proceeded to threatening to take our stuff off the truck and put in storage at our expense until we agreed to pay. After many frustrating words and no sympathy with customer service we had to end up eating the bill for their mistake. We have many moves in our future and Mackie moving systems will not be a part of them. They made our moving experience absolutely terrible. **All the employees in the office were to blame and were terrible to deal with. The guys that came to the house to pack the truck were great.

AMJ picked up our boxes and such at the end of the move. They were professional and fast. Thank you!

The service I received from this family owned business was amazing! The movers themselves have been with the Company for over 15 years and knew exactly what to do. They were fast and efficient. And I loved knowing that I was supporting local Island business.

I look after an apartment building and asked the driver today to move their big truck off the side walk and all I get was buddy swearing at me tell me to find off and get a life and other things all the time he was here . I would not recommend this company to my enemy
