Optometrist

My mom and I have both used Dr. Schaafsma for our eye car and are more than pleased. He is very professional and caring and his staff have been wonderful to the two of us. I lost my snap on sunglasses barely a week after purchasing them and they had a replacement ready for me to pick up the following week. Living on a little island, it is wonderful to have a pleasant and caring eye care professional coming over once a week to see to your eye-care needs.

Walked in with no appointment and they accommodated me a little later that afternoon. I had my 2.5 month old baby with me in the stroller. She was asleep when we first started the exam but unfortunately woke up about 10 mins in. She then began crying and the Optometrist didn't even bat an eye. He was so sweet and understanding! Then after as I was waiting for my trial contacts one of the other employees walked her around in thr store in the stroller to get her to sleep. Top it off they direct bill so I didn't pay anything out of pocket today! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a great experience.

Friendly people

Not much selection. Expensive / long wait time for what you end up getting.

I have bought my 3rd pair of glasses from Brian from RX Eyewear. He is fast, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I broke my glasses while on holiday, I called Brian he had them repaired and made sure they fit correctly. I like the fact it is by appointment only and I get one on one, uninterrupted service. I am a happy repeat customer and recommend him to all my friends.

I can't say enough about how helpful Neil M. was with helping me find appropriate frames. It is difficult for me to find frames to meet my needs, and he went above a beyond to make sure I got two pairs that worked for me! Very happy with the service.

I would not recommend buying glasses from these guys. Not very good quality high priced and can get way cheaper and flexible frames somewhere else for $61. When I asked for my 5 year old kids PD# they will not give me that # and said cause it’s vital information. Hahahahaha PD is the distance between the 2 pupils that is not vital information. Anyways I measured it at home and got optometrist to measure and was correct from my information. Very rude owners. These owner do not know what freedom of information is. Will never buy glasses from them again and will not recommended to anyone ever.

Great optometrist and wonderful service.

Love the collection, the space and the staff. All were great.! I would highly recommend.

Excellent service at both stores! we will always buy our glasses here. Thank you!

They helped me! They are awesome!

Great all around! Very thorough exams and follow-ups, particularly the contact fittings! Nice selection of frames as well. Everyone was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! I'm quite pleased that I found Victoria Vision eye Care!

My favorite eyewear shop in Victoria. They were friendly and skilled as well. If you want to get unique and high quality frames - this is the place to go.

I have bought 7 pairs of glasses from Perfect Look Optical over the past 5 years. Service and price have always been unbeatable. The proprietor, Danny El-Nahas, is always eager to be of service and get everything just right.

Russell is a legend and a scholar. He is the only guy I trust with my glasses. And I live in Calgary
