Pet

Brought our dog here for shots. He’s kind of skittish, but he warms up to most vets. While Dr Munz is was very nice, she seemed nervous about petting and making our dog feel comfortable. She was unable to give him any vaccinations for fear of him nipping at her and because he was moving too much. She prescribed a sedative, and asked that we make another appointment. Still charged us for the visit, which was frustrating. The next time we came in my husband restrained him while I fed him peanut butter and we got the shots in. I wish they’d been more prepared for a dog like mine, who needs a lot of reassurance before someone sticks a needle in them. We’ll return and see if things go better next time.

We just adopted our third dog from the Idaho Humane Society - they never fail to impress with their service and compassion! Wonderful staff and incredible animals. I highly recommend adopting your next pet from this awesome organization.

This was my first time getting cat food at this store. It was a very pleasant atmosphere. And the two girls that work there are wonderful and very knowledgeable and helpful😽 Thank you!

Wonderful and Friendly Staff. Will go the extra mile to help you find what you need, or direct you where you may find it. Trained breeder on-site, knowledgeable of all varieties of animals including reptiles, mammals, and aquatic animals.

Doug and his team are always super friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I trust the staff to give me advise and recommend the right products.

Gruff but friendly and knowledgeable service. The guy was not a salesman and his honesty probably worked against him. What you want when growing in a northern climate

I highly recommend Grant Rd Groomers to anyone looking for perfection! The ladies were helpful, informative and friendly. They took the time to introduce themselves to my Sheltie Rizla and did an awesome job with her coat. We have found our groomers! Tracie Oates

Nice facility, friendly owner

Knowledgeable staff. Good product range. Canadian owned store.

Nice to have a pet store with quality items in Sooke but the customer service is terrible. If you can get them to stop talking at the counter you may get a finger pointed in the direction of the item you are looking for. I have actually stopped going into the Sooke location and wait until I’m in Langford or get things online.

Great family company. Making “real” healthy dog food that my dog absolutely loves! Tony and Diane rock!

The respect and reverence shown to our beloved pet helped us feel as though our duties to our 15 year old dog on this earth were complete. We can rest easy, knowing he was cared for right through his cremation.

Got some dog behaviour training advice from the owner here which was knowledgeable and effective for dealing with our crazed chihuahua. Definitely recommend their services.
