Private Schools

As the 8th grade teacher, I wish to express how privileged I feel to be able to work in such an amazing school for over 16 years. I encourage anyone to come and experience St. Catherine's during a number of opportunities during the school year, such as: an Open House in January, school tours offered during October and November, sport events and rallies, the annual Christmas Program, Drama productions, the Family Sunday and First Friday Masses, the Fall Festival, or assist us in our participation of Sacraments, community service projects and collections, or volunteers service hours. We offer so much at St. Cat's...all you have to do is come by the office and inquire. We are more than happy to show you around.

I recently moved here from Las Vegas, NV and was told about Gloria Dei in Belmont. I was immediately well received and not treated like an "outsider". Gloria Dei is an excellent church and though smaller than some of the mega churches in SF and other parts of California, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the opportunities for involvement and hearing the message of our Savior are plentiful. Bible Study, Sunday School for the children and even an Elementary School are all an added bonus.

We have had our son at St. John’s for the 4th year now. He started in the kindergarten class and I must say; I could not feel happier with the Faculty, Staff and parents. His teachers have been very warm, comforting and welcoming; what more can you ask for. My child has learned a lot in these four years at St. John’s. I love the administration staff, principal, and their means of communication. They have everything we need, extended care and various sports he can choose from. He has great friends that I know will be with him a lifetime. I could not complain and couldn't be happier with the deciding this school for my child's education.

Terrific school. Our two kids love it and are getting a great education. Our 2nd grader currently gets instruction in math, reading, astronomy, biology, history, singing, recorder, drawing, movement, PE, Spanish, and origami art. Older kids do school newspaper and put on a play; everyone plays an instrument. It's more affordable than other private schools. Great value.

We absolutely adore The Laurel School! My son has been there since kindergarten and he is now a very successful fifth grader. Their individualized attention and specialized education model has been wonderful. The small class sizes are also hugely helpful. They have OT and Speech on campus and that is also great! We are so grateful to the laurel school and all it does
