I had a terrible experience dealing with this company - as an owner and as a Board member. Dion could not be bothered to answer questions or do the work he was being paid to do and would dismiss requests in a very cavalier way. Would not recommend.

I’ve lived at the gala at applewood for 6 months under the old management company and never had a problem. Once Avison Young took over everything went to hell. The property manager Ashley Kane is a total bully. Rude and very disrespectful to all the tenants. She seems to take great pride in making people suffer. Like threatening to charge back for even the slightest infractions while seeming to ignore the blatant problems on hand. Theft and damage to personal property despite the presence of a security guard, deplorable grounds keeping among other things. I personally have witnessed 7 tenants move in the last 3 months because of Ashley’s lack of basic manners and her terrible attitude towards the people who keep her employed. I actually considered renewing my lease for a second year but was refused due to “too many account issues.” Funny thing is that most of the issues were caused by their inability to properly set up direct deposit withdrawal and now I’m getting screwed for it. I would be ashamed as a company to have her dealing with people on its behalf. She gives you a bad name and it’s spreading like wildfire. Don’t be surprised if a lawsuit follows soon from one of these ex tenants. I’m tempted to join them.

It was a tremendously positive experience working with Peter Ng while buying my new town home! He is very passionate and excited about Calgary real estate, and he has a crazy amount of expertise in real estate and the Calgary market in particular. I was a first time home buyer, so it was nice to have a real estate agent who walked us through every step of the process and made sure everything was easy to understand. Peter has a lot of connections in Calgary, so he was able to put us in touch with everyone we'd needed, including our home inspector.
