I appreciate that they are open on sundays. They have a great, clean salon and knowledgeable staff. Friendly smiles all around. They work with you and your hair and have a consultation before any work is done. Definitely would recommend.

I've booked two appointments at Fringe. The first time was with Lauren, overall fantastic experience. Lauren is GREAT! I booked another appointment with Lauren only to get a call the morning of stating she is sick and will not be cutting hair that day, understandable. After working with an annoyed/confused receptionist over the phone I managed to schedule some time to come in later that afternoon for a cut with another stylist. I arrived to my new appointment a couple minutes early and proceeded to wait 40+ minutes to the point where I cancelled my appointment. The staff was totally unapologetic and didn't seem to care at all that I had been waiting for so long. Not the service I expected from an Aveda salon. I suggest the owner of Fringe speak to his/her staff scheduled on 03/03/18 to ensure they don't lose another customer to this experience. I'll be booking with another salon that values providing consistent customer service.

Qasim has been cutting my hair for 2 years- he trained with my previous stylist with whom i was with for over 15 years at Civello. "Awesome Qasim" is a real artist and listens to your concerns not to mention being a real sweetheart!

Linda does a great job in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. She takes extra care to notice the little things. She is often busy so it helps to call ahead and make an appointment.

The staff here are excellent, Ben cuts my hair and he does an amazing job. A great vibe and you'll leave looking you best no matter who you choose to do your hair.

I have been going to Diana's for over a year and I can only say that it is one of the better cuts and styles I have had in a long time. Try it out and see.

Great experience! Paula was professional, fun, friendly and very knowledgeable! I bought a Groupon and received a wonderful haircuit, balayage and deep conditioning. She paid close attention to what I wanted and made sure that I got it. I'm very happy with the result. I recommend others to go there!

I love this place, it's close by plus very affordable and her magical touch is always bang on ;) I always come here for a quick hair fix or a glamorous hair treatment and look. Anyways I love the vibe of this place, not too crowded and an easy to go to place :)

I have nothing but positive things to say about Suzan and S.M Hair Design. Suzan has been my go-to hairstylist for the past 6 years and I wouldn't (and won't) have it any other way! She is friendly, upbeat and professional- I am always treated with the utmost respect and completely cared for when I visit, from the moment I arrive till the minute I leave. I have had an array of cuts, colours and styles and always leave happy & pleased with the results! I trust her judgement and love that she provides customized recommendations, working with my wants and needs and happily helping me make the final call. The amount of compliments I receive after every appointment can attest to the amazing work that she does! She puts nothing but passion and integrity into her work and it definitely shows! The salon itself is always welcoming, comfortable and clean. I immediately feel at home and at peace when I get to spend time there- I can't help stop by just to say hi & have a chat when I'm in the neighbourhood. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of lively and relaxing. The music is always excellent and there is always a fury friend or two keeping everyone company and providing entertainment, haha. All in all, I would highly recommend Suzan and her services to any and everyone and will continue to be a faithful client to Suzan and S.M Hair Design for years to come!
