My experience at Civello was amazing ! From the moment I walked through the doors I felt welcome and was treated with exceptional service. When I came out of the dressing area I was greeted with a wonderful cup of tea and a warm smile. My stylist Kate welcomes me with a handshake and began her consulting magic. In all the years of having my hair done no one has ever examined my features to ensure the proper style for my face shape and bone structure She suggested some styles and I was more than happy with her recommendations. Kate is an experienced stylist with great artistic flair. My cut is beautiful ! My hair feels healthy. Thank you Kate and the rest of the staff for such fantastic service ! I

My first experience at Calia in Yorkville was in April of this year. I bought a Groupon for a (much needed) haircut. I'm always apprehensive before making any kind of change with my hair, but as soon as I walked in to Calia, I felt a million times better. I was greeted by 2 of the friendliest faces I've ever met in a salon setting. My appointment was with Maria Luisa and we spoke at length about what I wanted, I showed her pictures, she gave her honest opinion (I was taking about 7 inches off - this was not a run of the mill trim). Darren (the manager) was also in the salon and gave his input as well. They were both so friendly, considerate and lovely to talk to. Two and half months later and I'm STILL receiving compliments on my cut and layers. Last week I decided to book another appointment with them for balayage highlights. I had my appointment with Darren on Wednesday evening of this week. He listened carefully to what I wanted. Again, I was apprehensive as I hadn't coloured my hair in a few years so I was a little modest when describing how blonde I wished to go. Darren did a wonderful job with my colour. It was very natural looking, however the next day I realized I had been looking for a bit more of a "kick" in the blonde than I received. Nervous, I called Darren and explained how I felt and wondered what I should do. He booked me an appointment for that afternoon, and before I knew it I was back in the chair and we were talking about what I actually had been looking for and how we were going to achieve it. He was so kind and understanding. He corrected my colour and I walked out of there feeling like a VS model with my amazing blonde blowout! I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone. The staff and service is exceptional and the prices are very reasonable, especially in Yorkville!

Beautiful salon with a great vibe. Matthew has cut my hair for over 2 years now & he never disappoints. Always great service & an even better haircut! I Would highly recommend Alibi to anyone!

I haven't been disappointed with a haircut yet! I came here with a bad haircut that needed to be fixed and Eri really helped me out! For under $30 you can't go wrong.

Got a great hair cut where I cut off 9 inches and I only paid $35 for a hair cut and wash. The service was nice and you get juice boxes while you wait! I would definitely come here again.

best manicure in Toronto, friendly staffs and they made me feel like home. Quality work just like you're getting your nails done in Japan. highly recommended :)

Edit: Changed for 2 stars to 1 because I just noticed a HUGE chunk of hair in the back that wasn't cut... yikes. Now that my hair is straight and washed properly it's very apparent how awfully and unevenly separated my layers are. Will be going to another salon to get this mess fixed. Did a walk-in when my salon of choice (Sora, just down the street) was booked up. I got my hair cut by Satoshi and it was a mediocre-bordering-on-negative experience. Got a nice scalp massage when he washed my hair, but the cut required a LOT of direction, to the point that I question he's ever cut a woman's hair before. I asked for an inch off with lots of layers and for my hair to be thinned out near the bottom, provided picture examples, but I and needed to provide instruction - not feedback, instruction - at every single step of the process. He used the tiniest dollop of conditioner in my hair and blow dried it without heat protectant, which made my hair rough and hard to comb through (duh), so there was lots of tugging. I had to ask him to blend my layers better because they were incredibly blocky and obvious. Eventually we got to the point where my haircut was acceptable but not great, so I just accepted it and got out of there. Service is incredibly overpriced for the quality - wash and style was $50 + tax and tip, whereas any place down the street charges 30% less. Not impressed, and won't be going back.

AMAZING ARTIST! I absolutely love Vicki! She is very talented, professional and accommodating. She will do exactly what you want for your big day. Shes always on time and reliable, also very trustworthy. I hired her as a makeup artist and came out of it with a new friend. Definitely book her !!! Her makeup is ON POINT!

I'm a student here this was my first haircut in Canada. I was a bit nervous at the beginning but the staff were all nice and very friendly. And the haircut was excellent. I'm happy I chose this place.

Tony is the best barber I've ever had. And I've been going to him for 6 years now! His cuts are done with such finesse and a classic style, and he definitely knows his craft. He loves to chat, and uses a straight razor and hot shaving foam to finish your cut.

Recently went to Dat for my first appointment, Stacey was awesome! I'll be going back for sure- the cut is exactly what I wanted, Stacey was really fun and efficient, and the $ is reasonable. Highly recommend.

Been going to this place for 10 years now and it's always the best service and reasonable rates!

I've just started going there, I followed Zach from another salon. I love Zach - he's the best colorist I ever had. He suggested a color that works with my skin and doesn't look horrible in a few weeks, perfect for me. He's creative and gets it. And I kinda wish I was blonde or into the rainbow color thing because that's his REAL specialty - but my dark hair looks great.

I've never written a review before, this is my first. Which goes to show, this hair salon is totally worth it! First and foremost, I'd like to thank Untitled by Flaunt's employee Georgia for her patience, professionalism and attention to her customer's needs. She takes the time to listen, and explains all procedures as she performs them. I went there on a Wednesday, and as I got home I realized that I was not entirely satisfied with the result. Probably my fault, as I'm not the best at explaining what I want!! I called, and got an appointment for Thursday. I went there and Georgia totally made it exactly what I wanted! She was sweet and patient and the color revision was free of charge. I highly recommend her, she definitely knows what she's doing! Second of all, I wanted to mention the excellent customer service. All employees are polite and helpful, take your coat upon arrival, offer you a beverage. They make it a pleasant and relaxing experience, for no extra charge. Last of all, I need to say the salon itself is absolutely beautiful. Old historical brick building, with a modern twist and a high ceiling with lots of plants on the walls. It's clean, organized, and the music is quite pleasant. All in all, I highly recommend!

A little expensive but you get what you pay for itbis on libert village after all. Amazing staff, amazing results, ask for Lindsey!
