I recently cut my very long hair to go short. I went to a salon in North Dallas only to leave feeling like I didnt get what I wanted. I then tried another salon in uptown to fix the mistakes from the first salon only to leave feeling even worse. Needless to say , at this point I felt a little defeated and was convinced I would never have the hairstyle I wanted... until i came across Brandy's page on IG. I looked through her whole page and got the sense that she truly understood how to cut and style short hair. So reluctantly I scheduled an appt. From the moment you walk into her shop you feel a peaceful energy and when you meet Brandy you just know that everything is going to be alright. She truly cares to understand your wants and needs and takes the time to explain everything to you (and gives you great health tips for healthier hair). They say 3rd time is a charm for a reason because I left her shop finally feeling like i had the hairstyle I had always wanted. Sometimes you come across some one in their profession and you know they are doing exactly what they were put on this earth to do... that is definitely Brandy. She has a beautiful soul. I will go to Brandy as long as she is in Business.

The staff there is very professional. The ladies knew how to take care of you and they do an excellent job with the haircuts. I will definitely have to come back and the new lower prices makes it very affordable for anyone!

I absolutely love this place, sooo professional with still a very fun/positive/empowering environment as well! The quality of hair Billie & Kimberly do are beyond amazing. Used to be my go to location cause its closer to me. Here lately its gone way down hill. Different staff everytime meaning having to explain what i like everytime , service is not as good as it used to be. Mansfield location further of a drive for me but that one much nicer

Great service

Toutane is very kind and seems to want to make the customer happy, but her braiders do not share her concern or work ethic. Their work is shoddy. I had micro braids installed and the roots are bulky (see picture). The roots are also too tight, despite that I requested they not be braided tight. They are ridiculously tight, which serves absolutely no purpose except to potentially damage my hair, which certainly shouldn't be the goal of a hair stylist. My braids have the added hair loose at the ends, but they were supposed to braid until the end of my hair--but they did not, which is obvious because my hair is natural (type 4a/b) and the added hair used is wavy (type 2). In some places, nearly 4 inches of my natural hair was left out of the braid, which doesn't make this much of a protective style for me. I braided further down on the worst braids I immediately found, but I will still have to make sure to keep my hair moisturized for the ones I missed. All of that extra product will probably shorten the life of this supposed 3-month style. I initially wanted it out immediately because it just looks unprofessional (people have asked me if I did it myself), but I already sat for 7-8 hours to get it put in; I'm sure it'd take another 2-3 hours to get it out. I spent $250 on the install, plus $60 for the hair. I absolutely did not get my money's worth. This experience was so bad, I do not think I will ever get braids again. I got braids this time because I wanted a break from my hair because I was feeling so frustrated with trying to style my natural hair that I was considering a relaxer. I feel like what I wound up doing (braids) was more damaging than a relaxer. These braids are so tight, I am sure they are damaging my hair follicles. (I also requested my front edges be left out, but the braiders seemed determined to braid as close to that obviously fragile area as possible. I actually had to take some of the braids out because some of my very thin strands were braided anyway.)

Well first off. I haven't let a African native touch my hair in years. Why? Because every time the braids were entirety too tight. I was in extreme pain. But i have been wanting a jumbo cornrow style for awhile. I couldn't find anyone who could do it. My auntie referred me to the gorgeous salon. I was hesitant. So finally months later. I took my auntie's advice. I was a walk in. The owner sat me in her chair and Wahl ahhhh in 30 minutes later. I had the exact style i wanted. Next time I will get a sew in. Hope it turns out well...

They always do a great job. Definitely worth any amount that's charged for whatever you want to get
