Wow where do I start...I booked an appointment with this chick Mercedes for a retirement dinner. Appt was 12/2 at 9:30. First of all, she doesn’t have a salon, it’s a very tiny booth inside a multi use shopping mall. Around 9:50 I started calling her number and it went to voicemail each time. I waited a little longer bc where in Houston you gone get a last minute appt for a weave. She finally shows up at 10:42. No apology. I checked my email confirmation for the time and asked if we mixed something up. This chick LIED and said she never booked appointments before 10 on Saturday but if you look at her appt slots right now today you’ll see that she has appointments at 9am! At this point I didn’t want a fresh weave because I simply didn’t trust her and I ask for just a shampoo and style. She immediately got angry! Talking about I can’t book in the wrong slot blah blah. Anyway this fat heifer washed my hair one time with some cheap ass Motions shampoo and a teaspoon full of conditioner. I wanted flowing curls but opted for bone straight. This fat ass uses marcel irons and burns my hair. I was too done. DO NOT GO TO HER unless you want your hair and weekend ruined!! Rude! Unprofessional! Late! Cheap products! Cramped salon! Horrible!

This was my first visit to the Boardroom Salon at Voss and it exceeded every expectation. I selected the Presidential service which I highly recommend. Crystal provided the service. She was very professional and had a beautiful personality. I left the Salon on a new level. I look forward to coming back!

I hate getting haircuts - the awkward conversations, the disappointment of a bad hairstyle and the needless upsells. I've never had any of these issues with Carlos. That's the reason I followed Carlos from Nu Cutz to Revolt. He is funny and makes you feel comfortable, gives great haircuts with very little input from me and never pushes anything - I feel like I'm seeing a friend everytime I go to him. Also, I love the online appointment system!!

So I saw this girl named Devanhy I was skeptical of her cause it was my first time going to visible changes. But she was nice and she knows how to start a conversation she makes the the whole experience fun and amazing. She always knows what to do with my hair to make it look great. I found a new hair stylist.
