Worst experience ever. Lazy unprofessional stylists. They don't even wet your hair before they start cutting it which is a big mistake. Horrible communication, rude. Ruined my hair and my daughters. Do not go here spare yourself the frustration

Had 1 good experience and 1 HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

TERRIBLE! my hair was long she started cutting my hair without asking me how much i wanted cut off, they took off 6 inches of hair! the worker did not ask questions, she did not care, i only wanted at most 2 inches cut off! my sister was asking if they did scalp treatments she says ' no i wont touch dirty scalps' i told her about a rice water hair treatment and that its from a village in china that every girl has long hair her response was ' ew! why would you do that! we live in the usa ,a civilized country we have real hair masks here honey' 'i haven't had a trim in 3 years' i say her responses was "i can tell" this is the kind of experience that makes me nervous about hair cuts!

Its always a great experience to go to Styles by Paul. Been going there for over 30 yrs!

She was amazing! Listened to everything I said. I am very picky about my hair and I got my bangs done for the first time.. she cut them spot on! I couldn’t be happier with who I chose and I will always go back to have her maintain my hair! And jut to say her dog is ADORABLE!

Never been there but the woman that works there and paints her toenails multiple colors is very attractive. If your single look me up!!!

I love love love this salon! The ladies there are very attentive and make me feel special. They are excellent at what they do. I have had eyebrow waxing, pedicures, hair stylings, make-up done there and I would recommend all of it. The decor is wonderful as well. The very first time I entered the salon, I felt as if I was walking into a high-end salon, that one might find in New York City.

I could not be happier with the service I received this morning at the Family Styles Hair Center! My sister and I are visiting the Altoona area for the weekend, and decided to get manicures! We made a call to the salon, and were put in touch with the nail tech, Mickey, who was kind enough to come in just for us and work around our schedules. The service was amazing, and Mickey went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the finished product... after all, we are the ones who have to live with it! Well, needless to say, the final product is amazing. Everyone at the salon was friendly, the atmosphere has a clean open feel, the prices are reasonable, and the attention to detail and the quality service we received were A+! And, they are one of the few salons in the area to offer the shellac nail service (which is what we each got)! I will absolutely be returning next time I'm in the area, and would highly recommend!! Make sure you ask Mickey about the glitter, or the foil options for your nails... such fun and creative techniques!
