Dog sledding is a must do. So much fun! This place was amazing. They allow you to interact more with the dogs (so sweet and friendly) and even give you the option to drive the sled. Way better prices then some Of the other dog sledding adventures around the area.

Wonderful place to live

Was there a couple of years ago, 3 or 4 times. It's a simple place, with simple equipment and extremely friendly owner. It's an outdoor experience, not a 5 star deluxe hotel. Set your expectations accordingly and you will definitely enjoy your day at the lake.

Great place to camp! Lake is lovely, warm and shallow so no worries about the kids going on their own. Weather can be a bit hit and miss as it's close to the mountains. Great easy MTB trails around, and cycling to different places is easy. Really nice shower house, 2$ goes a long way. Sites are clean and large, some have 30A. Nice family friendly atmosphere, haven't run into any yahoos in 3 visits. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend this as you get a very unique perspective of the surrounding area. Would also like to thank Spencer and Mark who were fantastic guides.

If you're coming to the bow valley to fish, you're gonna need to stop here. Very knowledgeable, fair prices and pretty good selection for a small store.

We scheduled a sunset float while walking by there shop in town. It was a big highlight of our trip. Highly recommend and the price you can't beat.

This was a wonderful idea while it still existed. Pity that Canmore doesn't want to pay for it any more.

good spot to launch yer boat

This is a very beautiful spot. We came on a nice hot summer day and were able to dip our feet in the ice cold water. We didn't do any of the water activities - boat tour, rent boats and kayaks. They also have a boat launch as well. Parking can be a challenge after midmorning. They do offer a shuttle from a parking lot near the main road. That is a good option if you arrive late. There is a snack shop and we'll maintained restrooms. You could easily spend a few hours or more depending on what you decide to do.

Its peckhams lake, at Norbury campground. In the campground there is another lake called garbetts lake.

Well-treed and cozy sites provide privacy in a campground that doesn't get too busy. Beautiful sites by the river and the staff in this area are awesome. Every bit as good as a National Park campground but not nearly as busy.
