Boating

This is a great lake but you are not able to boat or swim in the water, but instead you can fish and if you are under sixteen years of age you do not need a license to fish as long as you follow BC's fishing rules. You can also see the endangered species of the western painted turtle if you are lucky and occasionally there are birds of prey around as well as muskrats.

This dutch Guy know the business, good equipment, good prices, good service. If you need toprubrieken rent equipment, boat or jet ski: look no further: the place to be. Number one. Michel.

Had a good experience with Fraser Marine troubleshooting a low oil pressure problem. Reasonable rates and got our boat back the same day to enjoy the water the rest of the week. Thorough explanation of the fault found was helpful as well.

Well done nature center with a variety of hikes available. We unwisely selected the Marsh Trail for a late morning hike in July and found it to be (predictably) warm with very little shade, so plan accordingly. Overall a lovely wetlands nature preservation of native plants and host to ample wildlife.

New RV park in a beautiful setting. Large grassed sites. Needs more trees for shade and privacy.

Scenic natural beauty

This is one of the last intact paddlewheeler ships. It is completely on dry land so you can explore all around and inside. Steam enthusiasts will enjoy seeing the inside of the coal fired boiler, steam pistons and associated equipment. History buffs will like the restorations of how travel was like back then. For a donation, you can even pull the lever to sound the whistle!

The owner of this place has a passion for water sports and it shows. Great service, nice equipment, and gave us great advice to enjoy our day of Stand Up Paddleboarding. I would recommend this outfit to anyone who wants to rent watersports gear, or be guided by a real professional.

The place to go for all your boating needs

Oh so expensive. Not unexpected given the location...Good selection if you are willing to pay. Very friendly and informative staff but you would do better on price in Nelson if you're going that way. No guarantees you will find the same products in town though... Especially if you're looking for tackle, they are very well stocked in that department.

Very nice place. The place is very clean. Nice view of the mountains. The owners recommended severals restaurants and the food was amazing !!

Had a great time rafting with these people. A definite highlight of my vacation! The staff was great, the rafting was great. Would highly recommend them to anybody.

We really enjoyed our days there.
