I’ve been for day at the beach a few times, beach is alright, clean, lots of space, but nothing special. Tried calling to book a cabin potentially for a weekend this summer and the lady on the phone was rude and seemed annoyed. Beware if you don’t call 2 months in advance you won’t get a cabin. I was going to rate 3 stars but the lady hung up on me at the end so I figured 2 is good.

Claim to fame is that it's Nova Scotia's northern most settlement. Worth the drive for the adventure alone and to see the rugged beauty of Canada's Ocean Playground. Top it off with a delicious restaurant serving top notch seafood chowder and great fish and chips and the drive is definitely worth it.

Been camping here for over a decade with family. Great double Beach. Ocean and lake. Clean firepits, pet friendly and activities for kids. Public washroom, showers and sinks. Firewood available. Simply serene. Wardens are always available for any roudy neighbours. Family friendly.
