Camp

We stayed one night at this campground with our RV on a no-service-site. Late arrival was not a problem for them, we called them first and they assigned us a site. The paperwork was done on the next day in the morning. The facilities were well-structured and clean. I appreciated that each shower cabin also had a small dressing section. But be aware that due to the high traffic even in the night at least some of the sites can be loud.

Scott and Janet are amazing hosts. Their accommodations are clean and quiet. Very knowledgable of the area attractions. Their breakfasts are fantastic with fresh, farm eggs, homemade jams and fruit sauces to top your homemade bread or fluffy waffles. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. This was our second time and we look forward to next time.

Had a great time socializing with the other campers at this site... good memories.

Only camped here one night, arrived late, slept in and left by checkout at 11. Seems like a very nice, family campground. There is no RV dump station here. The water does not have threads to hook up your hose. Some of the sites are extremely tight to get into with a larger rig. The beach is a steep climb down a trail from the campground.

Spent 10 years living in my Motorhome and working in the Victoria area... Great place, great Manager... now closed to build condos ... so sad...

Full service site was a freshly mowed field, long grass standing in clumps. The power connection box was torn from the post and had the while in use cover broken off ,the sewer connection was broken off and jammed full of broken pieces. If we had not paid ahead of time I would have rather parked in a Walmart or Home Hardware parking lot. Not to forget the staff here was extremely rude and almost hostile when I asked for the washroom code.

A great group camp site and amazing trails to the watering hole for swimming.

I'd like to leave this a one star review so less people will want to stay there, because the biggest problem with the campground is that it's almost impossible to get a spot in the summer! It's a beautiful oasis minutes from town but with the feel of real wilderness; there are showers and some flush toilets (although it's still a campsite so don't expect luxury- but it's certainly not bad either). There are various sizes of spots, but we were able to fit three cars plus a tent (one car left early). It is a bit pricy nowadays but so are most campsites.

Best camp ever for our kids. They will grow to become camp leaders.

Really hard to get to. Not alot of space to sleep indoors. But it was fun.
