Camp

Nice little campgrounds. Private showers, clean, quiet, boat access. Only complaint is: the staff was never in the booth. Tried many times to buy ice, wood, & one cream but they were never there. Tried at all different times.

Will go back. Great location and awesome staff!

My group of Scrap Booking friends loves the Lake Huron Retreat Center. We've been here in both the summer and the winter and are coming back for our second winter retreat in a few weeks. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the food is exceptional and the entire facility is very clean. Whatever your retreat needs are, Lake Huron Retreat Center can handle it and do so with a smile.

Great summer camp

First family camping trip of the season. The Campground was not fully open yet and only a portion of the sites were available. Camping experience was great and drn staff kept the grounds and restrooms clean. Camp host was friendly and had hot coffee available. Camp store has large bundles of fire wood for $5 and a cart you can borrow to take it to your site. Camp store opened for the season this weekend and was well stocked with essentials but not fully ready for ice-cream service.

This campground is great for a day trip or to stay 3 or 4 nights. The perks are a nice beach and easy to launch kayaks on and not ever too busy. There is one trail that is maintained nicely for a short hike. The downfall of this park is that it is right on Highway 7 so traffic can be heard. Park is clean and well kept. Not ideal for biking but nearby roads give ample opportunity for this.

The people are great and they have a B.A. band that plays some awesome country music on the holidays.

Great place to stay. Cabins are in great shape, they have three beaches for the kids. All kinds of fishing, Bass, Pike, lots of other kinds of fishing for the little ones..
