Counselling

I have been seeing a counsellor at Jericho Counselling and am extremely pleased with counselling I have received there. I've seen a huge improvement in how I manage my anxiety and am a lot more productive. I used the free intro session to meet my counsellor and find out about the process. My counsellor makes me feel like I am a priority. She is very experienced and solutions-focused, giving me things to work on between sessions as well, like books to read and self-talk techniques. Also, other people in my life have commented that I am easier to get along with now.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I've had a wonderful experience seeing the same counsellor multiple times and she was amazing. You have to be aware that this is a university and that lots of people seek relief, support, and advice, but they don't have the capacity, so weekly visits aren't possible, unless it's absolute emergencies. That taken into account, the quality of the counselling is really good. Especially if your depression or anxiety is school related, exam-relates, they can provide relief and exercises for you to perform. If your depression is out of control and you need weekly support: it's worth seeing an actual therapist. So, in a nutshell, for university counselling it's amazing.

after my first 2 or 3 sessions, I asked to have another counselor because I wasn't feeling progress. The second person I saw was amazing. I've been able to go back to her a couple of times over the years when I need support and always an excellent outcome. It is hit and miss but don't forget you can ask to change counselors and the clearer you are about what you're looking for the better they can make a match.

The 10 months I spent under Cascadias Clinic, Mr. Lowey’s umbrella was a hideous time. Every single day was a lost opportunity of my child’s mental and emotional healing. His view varied according to presentation, circumstances, and situation. He was unapproachable and difficult to work with and repeatedly failed to demonstrate his ability to keep up with professional practice and standards. He exercised a fundamental lack of professional judgment.fees were quite high, and the amount charged was not reasonably commensurate with the services provided.Simply put, he could not be viewed as being neutral and objective as a professional to reduce the friction and the tension between the parties and promote a resolution of matters.

Limitless Wellness helped me work thru a troubled past. By providing me tools to learn, accept and grow from the behaviours that held me back from truly embracing the life I want. Highly recommend the services offered.
