Countertop and Tiles

BUYER BEWARE - We contracted to replace our kitchen countertops in granite from here. The kitchen island has a large visible crack that has been cheaply repaired with silicone and is easily visible from the time you walk in the room. We have had multiple conversations with this company for a repair or replacement with no result. We have been told they are not willing to do anything about the damaged granite and not to bother them any more about it. This was a $12,000 mistake.

This review is long overdue. We had a great experience working with Joe at Acadia Marble and Granite. He was extremely patient and accommodating, and the quality if the work is outstanding. The best part was the turnaround time; simply unbeatable. The countertops were fabricated and installed within just a few days of cabinet completion. We really feel fortunate to have hired Acadia for our project. We will absolutely deal with them again and recommend them most highly!

Our builder required us to use Tile Superstore for tile/flooring/countertops/cabinets. We were later told that the owner is a close relative of the builder. One star is for the helpful employees. We've had multiple "fix-it" visits to repair/replace/adjust most of what we purchased from them. Last visit was to repair chips in our kitchen granite countertops and island. Our granite has a busy multicolored pattern, so we had marked each chip (ranging from 1/4" to almost the size of a dime) with small post-it notes. The employee told us (sight unseen) in a phone call that all the chips were "normal." After he arrived, he looked at 3 of the chips and pronounced them "normal," then removed all of the post-it notes marking the remaining chips without even looking at them. The joint where two slabs of the granite countertop meet was very rough, chipped, and unevenly installed at one end. He also pronounced it "normal." Very unhappy customers. Will not shop there again and would NOT recommend.

Very pleased with the quality of work of the contracted installers for our kitchen remodel. Both Gale (flooring) and Eric (tile) did excellent work, with great attention to detail. The whole project took a bit longer than we expected, however (almost 2.5 months from the date of our original deposit to project completion). The total amount of actual time involved in the project was less than 3 work days-- one day for flooring, 2 half days for tile, and a half day for countertops. Disappointing that better scheduling couldn't have compressed that. But we are very satisfied with the quality of work and the outcome of the project.

Beautiful granite but in hindsite I should have gone with a company that does lazer templating. Not happy with their service either....5 months waiting for warranty info.

I visited your Woodbury location and I was absolutely shocked at the level of service and knowledge that Mackenzie Lindback was able to provide. She helped me design and get me everything I needed for my remodel. I was more than impressed with her, and I'll make sure to return to MN T&S for my next big project. I've ordered some carpet for my basement. Great service and treated my right!

Nice selection of stone and tile, however the installer they recommended, Matt Lambert, decided after coming to my home first and only time to prep the small job that he neither wanted to do the job OR refund me the $700 (half of job) he collected the one day he was here. Store backs the installer customer, but not the customer customer. Would never recommend MN Tile & Stone to any private party. And Matt Lambert to no one.
