Prestige built a table, and help renovate my storefront in Point Grey. They did all the work in a time crunch without any sacrifice in quality. These guys do really, really good work.

I am not really sure what has been going on with Duradek over the last few years but from a company who has been around for over 40 years, and has always been considered reliable and of excellent quality, no longer meets those standards. Maybe it is just the contractors they have been utilizing, but there is definitely some disconnect. Now up to 3 clients in the Okanagan have had their decks either not properly installed leading to further damage to their homes or severe cracking where the deck is not function-able. Based out of Vancouver, they contract to Kelowna where the service is either not followed up, or when they do actually call, you are told they can't come for a few weeks, and then they are still a no show, without even a courtesy call. This goes on for months to years. and becomes exhausting, but in the end its all about the principle, and honouring ones product, right? Communication and follow-up is poor to say the least. Of course everything can be relayed due to weather and backed up in bookings, but for a company that is supposed to stand by their warranty and service rendered I would not recommend Duradek to anyone at this point. (last I checked, spring to summer in the Okanagan is a great time to have a deck repaired...) With reading other reviews I would have to say it seems like maybe they should be looking into more reliable installers, and switching customer services representatives.
