Best dentist EVER! Kind, and gentle. My kids love her office as well!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ganz with Rabbit Ears Dental since July of 2001. I recently tried to schedule an appointment and was told that "Dr. Ganz is no longer accepting new Medicaid patients." I explained that I was not a new patient, but rather, a patient of 16+ years. I asked for copies of my medical records as proof of the length of time I had been seeing Dr. Ganz. Then the young girl started backpedaling and stammering and said they were "just not accepting Medicaid Insurance." I asked to speak with Dr. Ganz and instead, was passed on to a very smarmy, elderly receptionist who informed me that he'd call me in 20 minutes. I told her I'd just come down to the office to speak with him. She said that would be fine. When I arrived I was told that I would not be speaking with Dr. Ganz, but instead, his wife?!?! When I protested and said that I'd be happy to wait for Dr. Ganz, I was rudely escorted to his wife, who tried desperately to justify their greedy, ignorance. I also had a problem in the past with a filling that Dr. Ganz did, that was breaking apart. When I went to his office, he denied that he had been the dentist to do the work!!!! On another occasion, they LOST my medical records. Subsequently, they were able to locate them, but not during my visit! As another reviewer stated, I also feel that Dr. Ganz's ONLY motivation is money, money, money! If you look at Rabbit Ears Dental's responses to ALL the negative reviews, all you'll read are excuses, excuses, excuses! Having lived in Steamboat Springs for more than 25 years, I can ASSURE anyone reading this review that this is NOT the dental office you will be happy with. Thankfully, there are many other options in Steamboat!

Excellent Dentist, Excellent Staff. I had a fear of dentists but from the moment I walked in the door, everyone was warm and welcoming and reassured me about the procedure. I had a root canal and felt no pain whatsoever. I barely even felt the Novocaine injections. Dr. Piaskowy and his entire team are true professionals. Highly recommended!

Love the doctors, the rest of the staff not so much... We've been going to this location since moving to Steamboat Springs over a decade ago, but now we've decided enough is enough and we're taking our business elsewhere. The prices are insanely high (though this is an expensive mountain town), their hours are random and aside from the doctors, who truly are lovely, the rest of the staff is sub-par. The technician who fixes and fits the glasses is rude, abrupt and not at all someone who should be working with the public. Although insurance was not a problem for most of the ten+ years I've worked with them, the one issue that recently cropped up is still unresolved after 6 months. Here's a few examples of poor customer service... I have called multiple times about the insurance issue and left messages, but it takes forever for them to call me back. I finally was returned a call after leaving a multiple messages over the span of a few weeks. They keep sending me a bill, even though they tell me they are working on the insurance issue. I asked for them to email me our family's prescriptions through their contact us feature on their website, as they rarely respond to phone messages, and a week later I still haven't heard back from them. As for their hours, they are so random - lunch is at different times on different days (honestly I am floored that they close during their already short business hours) and they randomly will close for a partial day and only post a note on their door. In the end, I would give them 1 star, but because the doctors themselves are great they get two.

Dr. Bishop and his staff were friendly and professional during my routing cleaning. I would recommend the practice to anyone in the Yampa Valley.

I have been going here for three years and have a great experience every time! Services are affordable and the staff is always warm and accommodating! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!
