I had a teeth cleaning appointment two days ago and the dental assistant who worked on me was nice, but very hard on my teeth. I already have weak enamel, but she was being very heavy handed with the metal tools and scraped both my teeth and my gums too much. When I said "Ouch" after she scraped my gum, she tried to act like it was because I didn't floss enough. My teeth felt fine prior to the appointment, but after ward two of my teeth felt sore and were much more sensitive to cool water. I am no longer Dr. Ohira's patient because of this experience and would not recommend them.

Maybe it is time for John Kotake to retire or fire Lori at the front desk. When John referred me to a periodontist after one year of mentioning that my gums were bleeding and Lori just handing me a piece of paper to contact the periodontist myself, it was time to keep a close eye on this situation. When I asked for the periodontist report, Lori said they never received it. I checked with the periodontist and they sent it to John Kotake more than two months ago. Either Lori is lying or is extremely lazy. Take your pick, but you may losing your teeth because of Lori. Ed Ikuma’s rating must be a friend or relative of John since Ed only rated John recently after seeing John for a good 30 years.
