My oldest son started seeing Dr. Bhalla when he needed a tooth extracted and we were so happy with the experience. The care was top-notch by the whole team. They asked me to do a gum surge (about $800) in my first normal scaling appointment with them. Spend 1 hours to clean 1/3 of my teeth (charged 4 units). Billed to my insurance company for and got denied due to higher than standard charge. Don't go there.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!!! I saw Dr. Beir for a simple filling and because the injection missed the bone or nerve (apparently according to my other dentist he used a technique that allows the needle to penetrate the jaw muscles) and the needle went into the jaw muscles i had a locked jaw for about 1-2 weeks. This went on to be come a form of trigeminal neuralgia involving the mandibular nerve (i forget exactly in medical terms what my new dentist told me) and it took a very long time to resolve. It is considered one of the most painful neurological conditions there are, far exceeding migraines but more in line with kidney stones. He is a very pleasant and nice man but when dealing with medical professionals the final outcome matters more than their personality or charm.

Insensitive towards children To all the families visiting Safari dental office, please get all the treatment details beforehand from them (no, they will never share themselves even until the visit comes to end) and verify with your insurance about the coverage before the visit. Otherwise, you’ll be left with unexpected bills to pay and if asked for explanation, you’ll see the real face of this dental office that calls themselves children specialty. You’ll be saddened to see how they will change from a children’s specialty dental office to a business house and will even ask you to look out for another dental office for your children!
