Mike Dinapoli is my gf's landlord.... What a cheapskate.
She waits and waits for something to get fixed because Mike won't hire a professional plumber, etc. Mike eventually gets his friends - who may be unemployed - to stop in and fix the problem.
The toilet has been broken for over a week, and the sink has been dripping since January.

This place had been recommended to me by my pediatric ophthalmologist. Here is my experience:
1. They have a very large selection of glasses for all age ranges, even 2 year olds. It would be very difficult to walk out of here without finding something you like because they carry most of the high end brands.
2. They are very expensive, with or without insurance and they do not offer a warranty except for what the manufacturer offers. As we all know, manufacturers have a tendency to exclude just about everything from the warranty. Most stores such as Pearl Vision and BJ's allow you to purchase a warranty in the 30 dollar range so if your frames should break or your lenses should scratch they will replace them one time free of charge. The arm on the frame broke and it cost me over $100 to fix it and they tried to blame my son when this happened to him twice in a two month time span. It was clear the frame was defective.
3. The far bigger problem happened when I went in to order my son new glasses. After I had a problem with them after spending over $500, I was told his frame was too small for his head and that was causing the problem. He was sized in the store and the person who helped me did not mention once there was an issue with the size of the frame. They were willing to have me repurchase another frame and they would replace the lenses free of charge due to the error and they did. Next, a far bigger problem. My son came home and didn't want to wear his glasses claiming he couldn't see. I thought he was just being difficult but to humor him I brought the glasses back to the store. It turned out they placed the lenses in the wrong way, the right in the left and the left in the right eye. Imagine the damage that could do to your eyes? Management justified it by saying it was a mistake and mistakes do happen. They were sorry.
After several trips, glasses that were too small, then too big for his head, and lenses being placed in his glasses incorrectly I decided to go to another eye store. The best selection in the world is not worth the time and effort it took for them to simply get it right.

this is the worst place don't let any of your parents go to this horrible place, they took advantage of my father by selling him a pair of glasses for 1,200 when it retails $300, also they push him to sign up for a credit card so he can get those glasses stay away from this place, spread the word. very bad people in this place. if i can give a 0 star I would.

A great place to get your child some glasses. Many options to choose from for children of all ages. (And adults)
My 1 year old needed her first pair of glasses and after searching 4 other places i came across Brookhaven Obticians where they had exactly what i was looking for. They were wonderful with helping my daughter find a pair of glasses that fit her, took the time to answer all of my questions and worked with me when my insurance didn't fully cover the glasses.

The Dr here is great! Very kind! However....the “manager” is rude and incompetent when I approached about pricing and insurance coverage. Just an ugly and bitter person. She has no business working with the public. Not sure how she is employed there. Walmart should definitely look closer at who they put into these positions. Every other interaction I’ve had there was great. Outstanding Dr. and the lady who helped me look at frames was very nice as well. Unfortunately the “manager” lost the sale and i walked with my prescription.
