Flooring

Don't get me wrong it's a good store. But high prices and crummy customer service when it comes to a specific problem a customer asks for guidance on.... Not worth it. Home Depot has same quality of products with lower prices and way better customer service

Conventional Lowe's, kind of lacking in irrigation supplies but otherwise fine. Scantly staffed, but that's everywhere now. Yay capitalism....

Great Company!!!!!

Friendly and helpful staff.

The Best for furniture in Alamogordo. We always go to Maupin's for new furniture.

My place to go for all things home. Love this store!

Extremely helpful staff! They go above and beyond for all my needs and will continue to keep shopping here!

This place is really great for finding everithing for my house and tools too. I have enjoyed coming here time and time again for the fantastic personalized service, appropriate atmosphere, and easy access from every part of the city making it very easy and convenient to find and enter. The business is kept clean and welcoming with good employees, clean facilities, appropriate lighting, clean windows and interior decoration.

I might a little biased since I work there but I think it's an awesome place. Come on in and see us.

Nice selection. Dimensional lumber could be better quality

Casey Carpet was referred to us by our architect for leveling our floors in an addition to our home. The owner, Hank Schweinebraten came to our home and estimated that cost for leveling the floors would be $5,000. The estimate seemed high but we needed to get the project completed as quickly as possible because other parts of the project could not move forward until this was completed. After months of scanty, intermittent work from Casey Carpets our floors were not near completion and it did not look like they would be done anytime in the next 3 month. Every two or three weeks or so he would send two or three guys who would mix up some leveling compound which they would then splash it across the floor. They never once even smoothed or leveled out the mixture. It looked like something kids would do playing with mud! After 3 months of delays which were holding up construction we had no choice but to find another solution. I ordered the same leveling product he used and had my own team install it. It took one day and 25 bags and we ended up with a beautifully level floor. It took Casey Carpet more than 3 months, they never finished the job and claim they used 80 bags of the self leveling product we used. We did it in one-day, completed the job and only used 25 bags. It was very frustrating working with this company because it would take weeks with no communication from Casey Carpet about next steps, completion dates or anything else. I would have to call and leave messages for the owner to get back to me, which he would eventually do. Even though they never came close to finishing the work, offer a timeline for finishing the work or stayed in touch with us they were very prompt in sending us a bill for $7,744.34 and a threat to file a mechanics lien. It looks like we will be seeing each other in court! In summary, Casey Carpet quoted us $5,000, took more than 3 months with sporadic, shoddy work, never completed the project or offered a completion date and then sued us for $7,744.34. Since Casey Carpet seemed to have disappeared we bought our own materials and completed the job in one-day. I regret working with this company and hope sharing our experience can help you avoid the same problems we experienced!

I work for a small apartment community (Uptown Park Apartments) and we use C&V for all of our carpeting needs. We have used them for at least the 11 years that I have been here and they have never gone wrong. Even when I drop the ball and they have to rush to get a carpet replaced to cover me they do it, and they do it with a smile. You can't go wrong with C&V: local, honest, and all around great work.

Very reasonable prices. Got carpet for the entire home. They were flexible with our schedule and the final result looks great!

I am not one to routinely write a review. On a recommendation, I contacted Don Lavato at Carpet Source. Prior to meeting with him, we went to look at tile at a tile store. We were incredibly overwhelmed with the variety of tile and left with a few samples that ultimately did not work for us. During our meeting with Don Lovato, he asked some appropriate questions, looked at the area we were considering and simply went to his van, got some samples for us to consider. His ability to analyze our needs was exceptional and we made a decision not only for the tile but also for the carpet during this first meeting. It was simple and the recommendations made by Don met our needs very well. It was a very easy decision to go with Carpet Source. We ordered a significant amount of carpet as well as tile for almost all of our entire house. The project started with the removal of existing tile. I was told they had special “dustless tile removal” equipment. I was very skeptical as I know how much dust is involved in tile removal. The removal went as they described. Virtually no dust was generated. I can highly recommend Carpet Source for providing us with ideas to consider on the onset to an excellent final product. As one who is detail oriented, I would easily recommend Carpet Source for any of your flooring needs. The support and follow up during a 2 week period of installation was exceptional. Special thanks to the staff including Dillon and Andy for making frequent visits to see how the project was progressing, and to Ruth for handling the financial and warranty issues and of course to the excellent attention to detail by the actual tile and carpet layers.

We attempted to order flooring in September and the wrong amount was ordered and the salesman had quoted us the wrong price. We started over, and the order was sent in for the wrong amount of product. After that, the product we ordered was discontinued. Now we have ordered a new product and it was to be installed today. The installers didn't show up and no one called to let us know. After calling the store, we were advise that the installer had been delayed and we needed to reschedule, which we have done. We have been repeatedly inconvenienced and are still without a laundry room floor in late December. I would never use this company again.
