Flooring

We booked and put 50% down in July. Our work was only done this past week (started on 9/5) after phone calls from my husband inquiring as to when it would be started. The wood was delivered 2 weeks before they started and they wanted to deliver it in our kitchen, but we have a 3 year old and we told them that wouldn't work--so they left it in our garage. They didn't tell us how long it would take to complete the project. They didn't put up plastic to separate the rooms before they started working. My entire kitchen and master bedroom was destroyed due to dust and no work was done in the kitchen or the master bedroom; it should be noted that the master bedroom has a door that should have been closed the entire time. They had to take out some tile and there was a lot of random chips in my living room; luckily, no one was hurt. There is a weird residue on our wall. They told us with a couple of hours notice that they would be putting polyurethane on the floor that day and we wouldn't be able to stay home for the next 3 days. Luckily, my husband was home so he was able to pack some stuff up for us otherwise I don't know what we would have done. A little communication goes a long way and, unfortunately, they failed in that department. The work was done well, although now that we're not cleaning up the dust storm that was left in the house we are finding more and more imperfections/holes in the wood. Needless to say, I'm not ecstatic with this service.

Very accommodating and knowledgeable staff.

Huge selection and expert sales staff! Best prices by far

Great prices, lots to choose from...

Good price and a speedy install. So far it looks great and the installer was always on time too

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Heidi is absolutely correct - Point of sale is fine, but once they have your money, forget about it.

5pm on Wed. Surprised that there aren’t many people in there. Took forever to find an employee to page someone for the window desk. Waited 10 minutes. Someone finally showed up and had no clue. “Someone will call you.” I won’t hold my breath. Are you people having hiring issues??? Maybe it’s your own undoing? Same goes for Depot.

Busy day there.. Found What I Needed, Checked out. Pleased.

Awesome store awesome staff

Had a pick up. They had trouble finding my order. Staff were great-polite, pleasant.

These guys are great! I had tried to do my floors myself, didn't work out like I thought. I called Authentic Hardwood based on a referral from a friend. I spoke to 3 different floor companies. Authentic came to my house on time to give an estimate and was down to earth and reasonable with his price. He wasn't the cheapest and wasn't the most expensive. The work was done on schedule, the house was clean and nearly dust free and my floors look amazing and more importantly my wife is happy!

Took a little bit to get someone's attention at the key maker, but once there they were patient and helpful!
