Yes they dont deserve even a half a star. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. My personal experience is horrifying. My installation is second rate to say the least. I am dealing with their shoddy work and half truths on a daily basis. Its a $20,000+ job. The workers are inexperienced, sloppy and made to rush. They have dragged my never ending job out as they dont have enough workers or equipment. They had to share tools on another job and workers. They take on as many jobs as possible short changing the work on my home leaving you hanging. Once this worthless company has your deposit and starts tearing your floors apart he has you by the throat. I should have fired them immediately but I thought things would get better. No way, it got worse! The flooring job is so ghetto with chips, spaces and empty hollow spots with no glue. Maybe this company was decent at one time. But time has passed. This flooring company ruined my brand new paint job through out my entire house. They got tar on my driveway and their trucks leaked oil. You cant make this stuff up. You've been warned.

Lou's flooring, and Josh specifically, helped us re-carpet 5 bedrooms in our new home. Josh did an in home consultation to determine the amount of carpet needed, and was clearly knowledgable about flooring and overall home remodeling. We had extremely bad creaks in our sub-floors. Josh was honest they couldn't 100% resolve it, but in the end we got to 90% resolved, which we were very happy with. We also had large dips from the tile hallways to the cement sub-floor in each of the rooms, these were also resolved greatly, so we have less of a strange ramp effect. My only feedback was that less expensive carpet options aren't on prominent display in their shop. We had seen DreamWeaver (which was started by the same original owner as Mohawk) at another shop, and it was about $3K less than comparable carpets from Mohawk or Shaw. Lou's still had it available, and was able to price match, but if we hadn't shopped around a bit, we may have ended up paying a lot more. Overall, we still wanted to make sure we went with Lou's for installation sake. We we were much more confident in their expertise and Josh's oversight, and in the end the install was flawless. We have a square grid patterned carpet, which was installed evenly and straight across enormous rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lou's flooring or use them again.

My wife and I are very impressed by the quality work done by Samo and his team on our recent kitchen remodel. We moved into our new house and added new countertops, a back splash and countertops to our center island including a waterfall. I was most impressed by the short amount of time it took them; they went from quote to contract to completion in under 2 weeks. The work was extremely well done too.
