Flooring

I am a recent New home-owner and I am so pleased to write my first ever review for a company that I feel truly deserves it. Initially, My builder sent me to two other Flooring stores in Southside. I was Driving back with the final selection completed from the last store and noticed Payless wholesale Flooring on 50th street. I didn't wanted to go in at first but Something about the place just got me attention. I was Greeted by a gentleman named Peter, he was very professional and helpful in all aspects. Upon chatting with him I was sold on his knowledge, products and friendly advice; this is what I call customer service, last two places were in a hurry to show me only few choices and wanted me to sign on the contract. Finally, convincing my builder to go with Payless Flooring was a long process, cause they were use to the other two Flooring companies for years. After purchasing their services we had nothing but amazing results and friendly and professional help along the way. The quality of the install and final results were nothing but perfect. I will always be sending out amazing recommendations for this company and for Peter and his amazing service and all the guys that work there for there quick, professional services and making the client's project as their own. My builder is so pleased with their products, price and Installation teams, they have started to use them on all their current projects and I feel they deserve every bit of it. Thank you again Payless Team for your Services.

Very friendly, professional, affordable, and timely. We hit a minor snag with flooring subcontractors - they did not leave our baseboards in the same condition as when they started - but the day after we talked with Capell Flooring, Justin was out the next day cutting, replacing, and painting all the damaged baseboard himself! Another plus - Matt personally returns all emails within 24 hours (usually much sooner). Such a good experience - we will use Capell again for any flooring needs!

Great service! Very professional and awesome prices! We will definitely be using creative carpet for our future jobs. Thank you Brian for your extraordinary customer service.

I went to this carpet place, had them come out to measure for carpet,,, made a deposit of half down and had to them order carpet. A month goes buy no replay back , called waiting on supplier , another two weeks no replay, stope buy to find the place closed ,,, tried calling ,e mail , taxed NO replay back at all. If any one know the owner or has a contact number please let me know , need the information to take them to court to get my money back,

Simply stated, Gemini Floor Services saved our floors and brought them to life. We initially made the mistake of letting a general contractor talk us into finishing the hardwood floors, since we were going to save about 3000 compared to quotes we got from a couple flooring companies. We thought we were getting a great deal. The floors were done and looked amazing for a while, but within a few weeks, the floors started peeling (see before photos) and the contractor was long gone and no where to be found. We were horrified and felt like we were swindled. We were depressed. So we decided to get quotes from only reputable flooring companies, reading reviews, having them all come over and look around and give their opinions and pricing to compare. ‭ Dyal at Gemini Floors seemed different than the rest. He was genuinely hurt that the floors were in that state and empathized with us, offered us reasons and solutions that made sense, and beat every floor company’s quotes by hundreds of dollars less. His guys came over, striped a part of the floor and put down samples for us to choose from so he would be certain of what we were looking to achieve. We wanted a more rustic look and chose the Jacobean stain with a flat finish. Dyal informed us that they use only the finest floor finish available on the market today, Bona. His crew immediately got to work. They were meticulous, neat, and efficient. The floors were sanded first. Then in order to achieve a deep color, they completed a “water pop”, which is where water is applied to the wood in order to open up the wood fibers so the stain can penetrate deeply for a rich color result. The stain was then applied, allowed to dry, and the following day the Bona flat polyurethane we chose was applied, dried, and then a second coat applied. The result is absolutely magnificent floors, done the right way. A heartfelt thank you to Dyal and crew from Gemini Floors for outstanding work at an unbeatable price.

Great customer service, very friendly, responsive, timing and quality of work was perfect. Bought carpet from Lowes to use as large area rug. These great folks bind the edges. Absolutely perfect finish..!!! Saved $$$ hundreds doing it this way... And these guys made it possible...

Great service !

JJ has great floor people. They are just finishing a ceramic job at my place and it looks amazing. Definitely recommend!

I recently had Chad and Total Flooring install carpeting in 3 upstairs bedrooms and hardwood on the main level of my home. From the beginning until the end, everything went seamlessly. I was very nervous about a few loose pieces of plywood in my sub flooring, Chad assured me that it wasn't a problem, and that they run into that a lot. When the old carpeting was pulled up, they screwed down the plywood and the squeaks are gone. We went with the Smartstrand carpeting and Mullican 5” wood and it looks, feels, incredible! Everything that Chad promised was delivered. Alex, his hardwood installer was on time, fast, and did an incredible job! We have open steps and they look great with the new wood! I couldn't be happier and will definitely recommend Total Flooring to my friends and family!

I can't say enough good things about Jared and his team! He found us spectacular flooring at a very reasonable price and helped us through the whole process! Jared listened to what we wanted to accomplish and delivered exactly that! A portion of our order wasn't in stock and he made sure to get it to us ASAP to keep our project on schedule, and thanks to him, on budget. We have another level of home to renovate and we know exactly who we're calling for the flooring!

Went here on the advice of a friend and couldn't be happier with the results. The person helping us was knowledge on all the products we asked about and was very helpful with installation instructions and offered his assistance if we had further questions. Had a wonderful experience!!!

Absolutely awesome service. They helped get me what I needed for my house within my budget perfectly. Super quick quote and next day installation was perfect. The gentleman who installed our carpet was right on time, very kind and professional and he did not stop all day until the job was done! The gentlemen in the store were courteous and wonderful. I do not have enough good things to say - we needed help and they provided to the nth degree.

The owners are great guys and very helpful, their store is clean and they have a large inventory and many options.

Great company, always a pleasure to deal with

Dam good

Custom Floors Inc. had been contracted for the restoration of my kitchen back splash. Josh was very friendly and professional, explaining the different options and came by with samples to match my previous back splash. Merick was the one who installed my tiles which only took a day. They were quick and responsive on a last minute's notice--would definitely recommend them if you have any tile work that needs to get done!
