On February 21, 2017 I took receipt of my new Simmons sofa bed. Less than one year later I am very disappointed with this sofa. The cushions are permanently flattened and misshapen and the fabric is showing creases and is developing pills.
When I went to the store to complain I was blamed for the condition of the sofa. According to Mr. David Reid I was guilty of:
• not turning the cushions over often enough
• sitting in the same place too often
• and not understanding that a sofa bed is built differently than other sofas (and therefore the cushions get stuck in the frame)
UPDATE:
Today the store sent someone to replace the foam in the cushions. Thank you. It looks much better.
Follow up.
Although it took quite some time, the problem with the cushions on the sofa bed was resolved. Sandra Dean, who sold me the sofa came to my house on her day off to assess the situation. She agreed that there was a problem with the sofa cushions and offered to send the service technician to find a solution. After a few attempts, the technician found a reasonable solution that I am happy with.
Sandra Dean should be commended for going above and beyond what one might expect, Mark, the service technician was very professional and patient with helping to get the right solution.
Although it was a bit late coming, I was happy to have received a call from Mr. James Reid, offering an apology. I believe that he was genuinely sorry for all that had happened and has followed up on a couple of occasions to ensure that I am happy with the results.
I appreciate all that was done to resolve the issue. Thanks to all who helped.

My 2018 Review of The Thread!
I was invited to The Thread mid summer 2018, the group was vibrant for a few months but from time to time fell short although messaging never stopped. 2017 was apparently The Threads peak prime but I really feel late November this year the fire is coming back.
The Thread meals are a once a month thing organized through doodle and each month is a different thread members choice. Organization wise I give The Thread a 8/10 strong but not the strongest. What I've noticed about the meals is the locations most chosen and the only real reason I can't give The Thread 5 stars is because the meal locations are always hipster joints mostly in the NQ... And everything they eat is wings and spicy wings. Getting drunk though makes up for this but are usually overpriced because we are in the NQ
To round 2018 Thread up
Best bits: The MAGA hat & Dom complaining about the slow service
Worst Bits: The Hipsters and Chris Hindle
Improvement for 2019 Thread meals would be to include beak and we try eating something that isn't wings. Maybe more Fancy Dress like Doggs parrot!
Overall I rate The Thread in 2018 4 Stars out of 5 Stars

Reid & Siemonsen Design Group
350 Bagot St, Kingston, Ontario, K7K 3B7, Canada
A team that goes above and beyond and shows immense patience and grace with the style illiterate! In addition to offering design advice, they sourced pieces and managed the needed trades and craftsmen (painter, upholsterer and movers). They worked diligently to best accommodate our schedule and keep the stress low. They also rose to the challenge of designing space that would be safe and comfortable for a family living with dementia. A joy to work with, I would heartily recommend their services.
