Amazing store with tons of selection!

My wife and I went shopping for TV room seating for our new house. We were greeted by Mark. Originally, we said that we just wanted to browse, but it became evident that he was very knowledgeable about options for the kind of things we had in mind. He showed us what seemed to be the perfect Canadian manufactured line of power recliners. After taking measurements, we went back the next day and ordered the console love seat. We were tested with respect and utmost patience. We did not dicker over price - the prices on all the showroom stock seemed quite reasonable. I highly recommend Dodds for its quality and integrity. We were very well treated and ended up with exactly what we wanted.

We worked with the team at Autonomous Furniture to create a beautiful custom bar and tables at our newest Discovery Coffee location on Blanshard Street. We could not have asked for a better experience and we are so in love with the final product. It turned out exactly as we had hoped!

I have been a very satisfied customer of Sager’s for over 35 years. In fact, virtually all of the furniture in my home has been purchased there. I find that the furniture is of a very high quality, but most importantly, the owners are on site every day, and they and the staff are experienced, knowledgable and very service oriented. When you have sold furniture, and top lines, as long as they have, you have an expertise that I find I can rely on. Countless times I have come in to just look for some item I think I may need and the sales folks are so knowledgable that I find I leave with just the right piece for me, and my home, and feel very satisfied, in fact, delighted. I recently purchased a new home, and found that dated and older styles just did not suit. The folks at Sager"s have been very professional, helpful, and so knowledgeable that i have avoided the wrong selections, and now my home is coordinated, up to date, and the quality of the furniture, which really matters to me, is just great. Often I find that expensive furniture may not necessarily be the best choice, and these guys will tell me frankly, what would best go, and why. I also appreciate the fact that their products are not off shore, cheaply made pieces, and they have a lot of books they can refer to if i need to select a "just right” piece. So I have recommended Sagers many times to friends and family, and everyone tells me how pleased they have been. Its not a huge store, but really is a secret. When you spend the kind of money you need to spend to have a nice home, I just feel you need quality, sound experienced advice, and all those years of experience they possess. I am extremely pleased, with every single item I have purchased at Sager"s, and very much recommend them.

Warning! This place has good furniture but terrible customer service. My husband and I bought a dining table, 4 chairs and a ceiling light from the downtown Victoria, BC store. After a few days, since we did not hear from the delivery people, we went back to the store. The two girls told us that they forgot to ask for our address!!! We also realized that there was a huge crack in the table (one wood in the lower frame was completely broken!!!). The girls said the price was lowered because of the broken wood. They finally accepted to give $100 discount for the broken part, but we still felt they had not been completely honest with us because they did not disclose that the table was broken at the time of purchase. We received the furniture but the colour of the ceiling light didn't really match our dining room decoration. We called them and asked if we could exchange it with a different ceiling light of the same or higher value. The person on the phone (one of the girls) responded in a cold and impolite way that they were not accepting any exchanges under any circumstances due to policy. The strict return/exchange policy was not disclosed at the time of purchase.

I recently purchased an Emslie 2 Crank Table with custom stools and chairs. I dealt with Darrel who went above and beyond to accommodate me while I tried desperately to sell my existing table/chairs. I love my new suite!

Awesome store, lots of unique gems - and the prices are totally reasonable. Definitely coming back the next time we're in Victoria.
