Hardware

It's Army & Navy, an institution in the DTES, and a life line for those living paycheck to paycheck. There's a few things missing from this store, but that's to be expected. Staff are friendly, prices are competitive and their hours are decent.

Welk's sells practically everything one would need but at a cheaper if not the lowest prices in the city. Little known fact is they carry the largest selection of s'well bottles around! No need to go to chapters. Used to be a bit dingier but recent renovations have made the shopping experience far more enjoyable.

What's the unusual bit is there are plenty of knowledgable staff which seems to be unusual for many hardware stores. Prices a bit steep but quality sometimes better here than what you find at Amy's dollar store across the street. Nice to have a full hardware store option downtown.

If there is a ZERO STAR I would give ZERO! Suck customer service with some careless staffs! Because the staff made an unreasonable and careless mistake, we need to do the refund. However, it's not easy to get my money back. I have been waiting for my refund cheque for a month! How can you guys holding my money for a long without reasons? I phoned customer service more than five times for my refund, but they just ask me to wait another week as same as each time.

Trying to get to a homehardwgare seeing how they are one of the few places that carry what I need seeing how Canadian time does sell refills even though they sold the main tool. I find all locations to have the traditional values still

I bought five tamper proof mirrors for a project I was doing. Excellent communication, super fast delivery. Definitely, Choicelle Hardware will be my main supplier from now on.

Thanks Tina and Sue for helping us get our appliances for our new home! We love everything! 5 stars for you guys!! Even though we had to exchange our fridge before the move. Delivery and installers came and we were very happy! The only thing I give less stars is for the delivery of our fridge (on separate day from the rest). I had to peel off all the protective sticker and unpack the inside and place the shelves in. From my understanding and our other appliances that were delivered the delivery guys set up everything and removed all packaging. I give the fridge delivery guys a 3 star rating only because they were nice.

Another PoCo hardware store left me standing in the isles waiting for assistance. I left after awhile without what I came for. The guy at Ace, on the other hand, knew what I was looking for before I could even finish my description. I was out of the store within five minutes with exactly what I came for. Great service, friendly people.

Good selection and usually much better prices than HD. Today we had fantastic service from Pam. She was very knowledgeable on battery powered drills and helped us pick out something that was on sale and served our needs. She was very helpful best service we have ever received at summitt tools. Ask for Pam if you need help.

Nice place

Went to buy closet shelves and few other things. Needed some assistance and asked one worker for help. She was from different department, but paged for help for me. No one showed up. She paged 4 times but no one showed up. Waited for about 25 minutes. Finally, I decided not to buy anything from this Strawberry Hill store and walked out frustrated.

Nelson helped me order in some obscure part for my cabinets. These guys offer great service!!
