The staff at Hearing Health in Petoskey were wonderful they explained every thing thoroughly, they where very caring and concerned to get me the best hearing aid to meet my needs. My over all experience was incredible. Thank you for making my disability so much easier to live with.

Take the free offered test, purchase elsewhere! PREJUDICE! AWEFUL!! FALSE ADVERTISING! My hearing loss is hereditary and has happened in mid life, starting about 7 years ago . After recentlly moving to the area and not having financial means to purchase good hearings aids .. I googled "hearing aid financial assistance", it gave me miracle ear. The page had a form to fill out and schedule an appointment. So I did. I got in quickly (within the day) and they called to confirm the morning of, I asked aboit the assistance tbey offered ..shw replied, "we wont be sure of what we xan offer until qe do the 'no cost to you hearing evaluation this morning' and then they will go over the options we have for financial assistance. Upon arrival at my appointment, I walked into a one room office where they were already giving one hearing exam so I apologized abd seated myaelf outside the exam office. When it was my turn, Ron was polite and full of informtation about what was going to gaooen next in the appointment . He did all of the evaluation, finding that the majority of my hearing was gone and aids were inperative to my success in society . That is when the appointment took a turn... The discussion on 'financial help' was non assistant for the moat part. Ron stated he could,give me up to 2500$ off hearings aids depending on the cost of the aids . firat pair was offered at a discounted rate of rpund aboit 10,000$$$. When told him that was co,pletely not doable at this point what else did he have? He said he has anither for around 6000$ then another for 4400 (or something close to those lines). When I asked about financial help, I was told that they didnt offer any funding,per say just discounts which normally apply to the higher priced pairs . he then offered me financing options if I filled out the application today. I told,him I would like to talk it over with my,husband and gwt back to them and then asked if he could ahow me the differences in the hearing aids . Ron had NO samples to,show me . Ron had NO pamphlets or info on any of the hearing aids. I asked if I could view the dofferences online someplace...Ron stated "they arent online". He then told me I could put down a depoist, fill,out the application today and come down to another location to see the samples at a later date . Again, I repeated I eanted to go home and talk it over before making any commitments. NOW IS WHEN I GOT MAD. Ron, then told me ... " we normally dont see women patients without their husbands for this reason ..husbands arent concerned with your hearing abilities, they are concerned with a price tag. So, the moment you leave here you probably wokt be back ..as soo, as you tell him how much all he will see is the cost financailly not the cost if the benefit of you hearing" His demeanor immedatley changed to defensive, manipulative, insulting, controlling and down right rude . He began to imply my husband didnt care ablut me, with statements about how if he eanted me to hear, he would probably be sitting next to me and he wasnt. Tryomg to almoat convience me to not ask just sign!!!!! He continued with comments about why they dont see women without men...Angry and turned off however, polite and silent I thanked him for his time ..told him i would be in touch and left. Then went to have my hearing impaired mom call for a test . Althoigh I would not purchase from them for how they treated me ..their testing seemed to be fairly extensive and thorough, which my mother needed and to finally have hearing help. As you would believe they were so nice and scheduled her at once . UNTIL... They asked if she would be coming alone ..she said yes, I am. Is there a reason I would need a driver for the testing? The women on the other end stated " Ma'am, we dont see women for hearing appoitments without their husbands present". That ticked my mom off for sure!! I was hoping she would geWe won't ever go back . WHAT DAY AND AGE DO WE LIVE IN??? WHAT DISCRIMINATING, CONTROLLING, BULL*!!! IS THAT??? I will NEVER ordee hearing aids from them r recommend anyone to them!!!

When traveling through Pennsylvania my daughter couldn't hear and the staff at this location took great care to make sure she had no permanent hearing loss...this allowed us to enjoy the rest of our trip without worry.
