Home Builder

My husband and I are more than happy with our custom house we built in Sycamore, Illinois with Jim. We were looking throughout the Chicagoland area to purchase an established house with good schools. After a year and a half of looking at all of our options (viewing houses) and a meeting with Jim, we decided to go a custom build with Silverthorne and settle our roots in Sycamore. We realized we could build our very own home, exactly the way we wanted, in a beautiful neighborhood with fantastic schools and an involved community. It was exactly what we wanted and hoped for. We are 100% happy with our decision and wouldn’t have it any other way! We worked hand in hand with Silverthorne to build our dream home. They made it a reality. I can’t thank Jim and his team enough for the work they’ve done. They were patient with us and answered the many questions we had. I have been sending my friends who are interested in buying to the Silverthorne model in Sycamore to learn more about the house building process. Many of them didn’t think of building until now. My friends are grateful for Jim, the sales rep, who is friendly, honest and helpful. He has given them all the info they need to get started on their dream homes. We love our house and get many compliments on it. It’s been 5 months now and we have made many memories already. We look forward to the gatherings, parties and everyday little things that will happen between these beautifully built walls. Thank you Jim, Keith and Logan for all your help. You have no idea how much we appreciate you! We can’t thank you enough for helping turn our visions into reality. - Chanla Frederickson

We had such an amazing experience building our first home with Veridian Homes! Everyone we worked with throughout the entire process was so kind, helpful, and made the process effortless. We were lucky to get the opportunity to work with Jonathon Maash and Richard Dorr, who made the new home process experience terrific! We love our new home and would highly recommend Veridian.

Really enjoyed this course. Combine the open fields, the tight forests and some water holes to make it challenging.

Great development!

Extremely good craftsmanship in many areas of construction. Especially the concrete crew, they really know what they're doing for any project.

I really wish I could give zero stars because my experience with Kraf-Tech (Paul Gauthier) has been absolutely terrible. I would seriously recommend going through a more reputable company. Firstly, he missed several appointments to install my windows and didn't call to say he wasn't coming. Then, when he finally did show up to install the windows the kitchen window was not as we ordered. Rest assured he rushed through the installation and forgot to install some pieces that I needed to wait several more weeks for. Fast forward 3 years and the windows seals between the panes of some of the windows are broken and warping. It's only a matter of time until the rest break. Despite what he promised, the warranty only covers the glass of the window and not the labour. I waited nearly 6 weeks for Kraf-Tech to do the replacement who was going to charge 200 until I went to someone else who did it in 2 days for less. Kraf-Tech only wants to take your money. Hire at your own risk.

Nice sheds !

Ramtin is a gentleman and a true professional. I would trust him with our custom home anytime. Reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I consider him a friend. A class act all the way.
