My sister has been living in this facility for about a month now. From the minute she was welcomed with open arms on her first day, until now, I've never been more impressed with her "new home" and it's staff. The meals are wonderful. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. The Recreation staff goes out of their way to keep residents busy and involved. The Manager and nurses are approachable and very knowledgeable. I've never felt like I was a "bother" asking them questions. Cheryl Moore, Director of Care, must be given special mention: she takes her job VERY seriously. She is kind, welcoming, funny, efficient and a master of what she does. A true ambassador for the Villa. Keep up the great work, Team! :)

Expensive and high quality.

Staff are amazingly kind, caring and efficient. Food is wonderful. Excellent activities. Accomodation is lovely. I wish I lived here instead of just visiting my mother-in-law here!

My father spent the last 2 1/2 years of his life at Island View. The nurses and care were outstanding and although I was unable to visit often due to living overseas, I knew that he was being completely cared for with compassion, gentleness and respect. We are so grateful for the wonderful home that he had there !

If you have $7000 a month great place to stay

My Mother was living in a Seniors Residence that was taken over by Trillium. The changes were not immediately noticeable, but after a while the decline in the quality of care was evident not only to myself, also other family members as well. I chalk this up to unqualified and inexperienced management provided by Trillium. It seems Trillium is more about the money than the care, so if you are fine with you or your loved one's assets being depleted, and being nickel and dime'd for every little extra thing, then by all means, go with Trillium. Mother is now in subsidized care, which is just as good (and in some cases better) as the care she received by Trillium. Know this - just because you are paying top dollar for care DOES NOT mean your loved one will receive the best care!

The care staff at Beckley farm lodge are honeastly some of the best. Ive instructed many classes of future HCAs and the Beckley staff have been the most diligent in mentoring the atudents on their clinicals and practicums. Professional caring kind front end workers and management support is amazing. Always a pleasure to pop in to Beckley. The clients appear content and relaxed with great rapore wirh their care staff which is best compliment a residence can receive. Thank you Beckley ( Broadmead) for supporting student knowledge and training. I wouldnt hesitate to place my loved ones into your care.

My Mom lives there. Depending on the floor it can be a bit "institutional" but I guess that's what it is :) Kind caring staff and very clean. If you're in the market check them out. I think there's a bit of a wait though?

Murray is truly genuine guy. I have met with him numerous times and heard him give presentations about his company and their service transparencies. Although I have never used his services I would not hesitate to recommend his company as a leader in Victoria.

There is a lovely public park just behind the building directly off Arm Street - it's got a beautiful view, is quiet and is a nice place to read or work or have a chat in a scenic milieu. This is a review of the park, not the lodge facility.
