Beautiful rooms, really clean. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Friendly staff. Lacks pool and hot tub but there is free Wi-Fi. Muffins and juice boxes in lobby every morning, no big breakfast.

This is a cool inn with a lot of character and I would have given it four stars but there were some issues with the host. When I arrived there was no answer after ringing the bell several times. I tried calling and no one answered. It was extremely hot outside and after driving for 3.5 hours all I wanted was to put my things in a fridge and go to the beach. I ended up finding another way to get in but the host came to that door and told me to go back around to the original door. I guess that was her private area. When she finally opened the door and I told her we were waiting there she just said oh that's because the power is out so the bell didn't work. She said it as though it was completely normal. She could have put a sign on her door telling us the power is out and to come and knock on her door. Or at least apologize for the inconvenience of us waiting in the heat but she acted as though it was completely normal. I asked her if she knew how long it was going to be out for and she said she has no idea. She didn't seem bothered by the situation. We had a lot of things in the cooler we wanted to put in a fridge but obviously nothing was working. I asked her if she was calling Hydro to find out when the power would be back and she just said that they won't know because it just happened 30 minutes ago. She seemed very detached and cold to the situation. We wanted to check something on the internet but nothing was obviously working. She also mentioned her phone wasn't working so she couldn't call Hydro. I asked her if she had a cell phone that she could use and then she said she didn't want to use her minutes. It was just very strange to me that she was cold and detached about the entire thing. She even told me that it was a small town and everyone's air conditioners were going and that's why the power was out. After going to a store next door I found out from an employee who knew about the situation because she called Hydro herself. She said it would be out just for an hour and it was because there was an event that used up a lot of electricity. That employee was saying that she likes to be on top of things and that's why she called Hydro, exactly like a host should be. There were some beautiful tables and a dining room at the inn where we could have eaten i but I didn't feel comfortable with the way the host was. Our interactions just felt strange.

We stayed in the unrenovated half of the hotel. The room was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The decor in the rooms is pretty outdated and our room in particular had an extremely unpleasant musty odour.

Friendly staff and very clean room with parking right in front of our room. Air conditioner worked very well and we had a very comfortable stay. Not very fancy, but cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in.

Lives up to its name. Stayed open late to check us in after A/C on Erie Canal boat conked out. Simple, very clean and a good price - a short Uber away from Spencerport.

Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable to the point that I had trouble getting motivated to leave bed. I stay here when I play Canterbury Folk Fest and they help make the weekend one of my favourite weekends of the year.

Very happy with our visit here. Nicely renovated room, comfortable and spacious. Great view, very clean.

Attended brunch with a large group here. There were a variety of food options available in buffet style and the wait staff were very friendly and hard working! Overall a very pleasant meal.

Very cute place! Conveniently located near restaurants and shops and the owner is very sweet and accommodating

My wife and I have purposely sought out this wonderful location in Muskoka. The rooms are well appointed; ask for a lake view. Challenges: the breakfast experience is akin to a pack of hungry wolves so avoid it and go to the Wolff Cafe across from the Hotel.

Its just a building now. Wish they fix it up and rent it out.

This hotel is a complete dump, I'd strongly advise anyone visiting to find another place. Poor heating and has not been maintained properly in years but they'll try to say different, I've got proof if you need to see it, feel free to find me on Facebook if you want to see how nice they say it is when it's not by any means. This place is an absolutely the greatest hidden jewel you will ever find. The suites are beautiful, spacious and the staff are so friendly and inviting, we will definitely be back !
